Let me tell y’all about the gang at Danny’s. The friendliest funniest and kind people in this industry. At Danny’s your more than a customer your part of the neighborhood part of something special. A place for not only great food but a great experience. Drop in to say hi or talk sports. Go Bruins hahahaha sorry Danny had to throw that one in there. If you just moved here or lived here for your whole life it doesn’t matter. Just visiting stop by and get the best pizza in South Carolina. And to the rest of y’all it’s the place to go. Oh and the pepperoni rolls are something straight out of heaven. Hahahaha but get them quick they fly out of the case. So if you’re having a hard day and just need a place that’s home away from home. Gone from mediocre to awful. Calamari smells like rotten shrimp, pizza has no sauce and minimal toppings. Staff is awesome but the kitchen is a failure. Call Domino’s
If you’re in the Myrtle Beach/Murrell’s Inlet area, and you miss NYC pizza, this is a must place to visit! You can buy it by the slice. They also have a nice selection of other options…even saw they have hero’s on the menu.
The food was amazing. We came from New York and our friends Pam and chris recommended this place. The soup was the best I have ever had. It’s tight on seating but business is good. Maybe a few more tables outside. 5 stars ⭐️
I’ve tried a lot of “NY style” pizza here at the beach and this is by far my favorite! I purchased just one slice so I wouldn’t buy a whole pizza and be disappointed. The combination of fresh dough and cheese and amazing, but not overpowering sauce, makes this pizza amazing! This will definitely be a yearly tradition to buy pizza here at the beach!
It's hard to find New York style pizza in South Carolina but this is one of the places that has it. Delicious taste of home. Many different varieties to choose from. I had the white pizza and it was everything I expected and more. My son had pepperoni and also enjoyed. Also, the staff could not have been nicer. All around great experience and I'll definitely be going back.
My family has been long time customers and have always enjoyed the food here. Today, for the third time, when we placed an order for pick up we were given the wrong order. We drove all the way back to the restaurant to pick up the correct order. When we got there I (politely) asked if anything could be done as this was the third time this has happened (I asked if we could get one free sub next time we ordered). The owner immediately came over and in a rude tone said, “A free sub? Sure. I have kids but sure have a free sub” and tries to hand me a $10 out of the register. I said, “Well you don’t need to be like that” and he yelled “No YOU guys are like that”. Completely shocked at his reaction I just left the money on the counter and walked out. In my opinion, the owner of a business should not have had that kind of immediate reaction and should not have been so rude. He did not once even try to ask what the problem was and it was like he heard the word “free” and snapped. We were in no way trying to take advantage of the situation, but after multiple times of this mistake it didn’t seem unreasonable to ask.
This pizza place is an absolute great find. The food tastes delicious, and there is a big selection as well. Also, the staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to make customers are satisfied. The portions are hefty enough to split for two! It is great food, and a great staff! In addition, the prices were not ridiculous, in fact, the pizza bites were only three bucks! I also liked that here is also seating outside which is perfect for dog lovers.
Order was missing items and the pizza is undercooked. When I called they said they "soft cook" white pies. Judging by the other reviews and pictures, clearly they are served more cooked about not doughy.
We are locals and this is our favorite pizza in the area. We typically order a plain cheese pie and a white pizza. We also love the garlic knots with sauce, the tiramisu and cannoli!
