We have been coming to Creek Rats on and off since around 2010. I haven't been to visit since 2016, but I have always enjoyed my experiences eating there. The service is always friendly, as it was today. However, the quality of the food for the price was simply unacceptable. I fully understand as a consumer that the constraints of an economy saddled by inflation, that the offset costs are passed on to my wallet. However, today we paid almost $15 for a clearly microwaved doughy pizza. The tacos looked like freezer fish thrown in with some rice. I could go on, but the point is made. We had great service, and I gave her a great tip. However, we were ready to move on pretty quickly to the boardwalk, partly for the view, mostly to walk away from the plates.

Had lunch at Creek Rats yesterday with friends. The table ordered the fish tacos, 2 fried and myself, grilled. Everyone had great things to say. Will return!

The food was very good here and the prices were very reasonable. Everything was prepared as requested and very tasty. Our children loved it here you can even see what we believed to be goat island and the boardwalk . We will return here the value was wonderful. The service was top notch.

Beautiful location, the deck area view was fantastic. The menu had a variety of choices. Tge food was good. Our server was fantastic and they were busy. Located right on Murrells Inlet off kings hwy. Business 17.Have fun and relax.

Have eaten there for years. Always great until last week. Ordered the seafood trio. I gave 3 stars because the oysters and shrimp were very good but the flounder was slimy and flavorless. 3 different people at my table had it and it was the same on every plate. Not really sure if it was flounder. I will give them one more try. I hope they go back to the flounder they were using before.

I never leave reviews but after two trips here I had toI have been coming to creek rats for several years now and have always bragged to everyone how good the food and atmosphere was but never again I always get salt and pepper fillet of flounder my favorite last trip in fall fis was slimy and nasty I thought anyone can have a bad day so I went back today 5/12/22 ordered my usual and it came out baked instead of fried it was nasty the sweet waitress said the have new cooks undoubtedly he can’t read there own menus my wife order was wrong and nasty also I can’t say what I really feel about this place but I wasn’t be back . The sad part is the young lady’s work for mostly tips and the cooks ant going to ruin it for them it was served on the lettuce in the pic that should be enough to stop anyone from going there

Rustic waterfront gem with a vaulted, beamed ceiling, fireplace and a nautical flare overlooking Murrells Inlet. One can enjoy indoor/outdoor dining with bars for both and live entertainment in the evening. On the menu one can find a full raw bar, fresh seafood, sandwiches, soups and salads, pizza and more at a reasonable price. Our selection this afternoon was the Fish Tacos, your choice of grilled, blackened or fried fish, cabbage, cheddar cheese and boom boom sauce in two flour tortillas. One side out of six were for your picking. We also had a bowl of their own, made from scratch chili. The chili was thick and hearty with a nice temperament of seasoning, beef and beans. Fish Tacos were a little light on ingredients, but fish had good texture and taste with just that added zip to to them. A nice serving of crispy, thin style fries added to the meal. Savannah was our server and she was friendly, personable and attentive. Good job on her part making our dining experience enjoyable. Look forward to coming again.

First time here and was very pleased with the food. Fried shrimp is very good. The hush puppies are great. The portions of grilled chicken was big as was the fries. Definitely worth the trip. I will be back next time I come down here. Don’t be fooled by the parking lot, they have lots of tables and other seating.

Disappointing experience at one of my favorite places. I took my 8 year old son there for lunch yesterday. The restaurant was not incredibly busy, so we would have expected the service staff to be more on top of their job. We sat for 20 minutes before placing our order, and when the food came out we were left alone with no check up from our waitress until well after we had finished our meal. We never saw a manager and at no point (that I could see) was there someone greeting customers who came in the door. Even my 8 year old commented on how poor the service was there. It seems as if the Creek Ratz ownership and management have done what so many other great establishments have done in the past... they've taken their eye off the ball and stopped focusing on the simple, repeatable, fundamental things that made them successful in the first place. If they continue to let things go on like this one day in the near future they will wonder, "Where did all our business go?" My suggestion... never forget the basics. Service and customer experience is everything.

We were in Murrells inlet and decided to try Creek Ratz for lunch. This is a nice restaurant on the Marsh walk with plenty of outdoor seating options. We decided to sit outside under the trees down by the water. Our waitress Jordan was friendly and helpful since we have never been to Creek Ratz. We ordered the nachos to split as an appetizer. It was a large portion so we decided to split a cheese steak and fries meal. The steak was tender and juicy and melted in your mouth. The food was really good and the service was excellent. We will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.
