Extremely understaffed on Fathers Day. Waited to be seated despite many tables being open because of this. Food was almost given to another table by accident and there was no asking which plates went where - they were just handed out. Server never checked for refills outside of bringing the food to the table.One of the orders was partially wrong. Some of the food was barely warm. The pancakes tasted burnt and the biscuits were terrible. Not a good day to have such a low quality experience. Will not be returning.
The waitress was very rude. (Renee)My friend asked her a question and her reply was to look at the menu. When our food finally arrived 25 minutes later, the eggs were cold, grits and eggs had a metal taste and the sausage was dried out.. She never asked if we wanted refills we had water(you can't mess that up)or dessert. But she was nice to other customers. Needless to say I left there and had to stop at a fast food place to get anything to eat. Such a shame for one person to destroy a customers experience. It WAS my number one place to go. Never again will I ever go back. I will also contact corporate.!
Stopped in for lunch. Limited lunch specials would be my only complaint. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. And my wife has the chicken salad and a baked potato. All were good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly.
The food was good and the server was excellent. Had a late dinner, at 7:30. My chicken and French toast was really tasty. The chicken was a fried chicken cutlet. My husband had the fried chicken dinner and he loved it. It came with 4 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. You get home cooking and comfort food here. We enjoyed our meal.
I never leave reviews but after today I had to. We waited 35 minutes to be sat which is totally fine and was decent time for a sunday but after being sat we sat at the table for 20 minutes with no one greeting us and then after that I asked the hostess if we had a server and she said she was sorry no one greeted us yet and was so sweet but after she had talked to what i assume is the server and manager in the kitchen still 10 minutes later no one. We sat there and watched four tables around us that sat after us be served before us. After 30 minutes at the table with no server we left.
Worst experience in any restaurant I've been to especially a Cracker Barrel which all of them are usually top notch which is why Cracker Barrel is the families first choice when dining out. But this experience has changed our view. Finding two long curly hairs wrapped around in my daughter's food after she had a few bites. She pulled one hair out and found another and was beginning to pull it out until I told her to don't touch it leave like that and I went to tell the manager. The manager took the plate and quickly got my daughter a new dish but she was as we were hesitant to eat our food for fear we might end up finding more hair in our dishes. The waitress did a good job checking on us and she isn't to be blamed for the hair as these hair were down under the food so it come from the kitchen and wasn't from her. Apparently they don't wear hair nets in that kitchen where they prepare food. But this experience will certain cause is to hesitate to dine in or order take out any longer from Cracker Barrel which is sad because we usually dine in or take out on our way home 2-3 times a week.

Standard Cracker Barrel fare, but I ordered over the Cracker Barrel app for the first time. It qasn't as smooth as it should be, with food coming out 20 minutes past the app-recommended pick up time. The people were very nice, though.
I had the best experience today with an outstanding conscientious server, Taylor. She was personable with the customers, paid attention to the details of each order, and displayed proficient soft skills. Kudos to Taylor for making my dining experience exceptional!!
