We really enjoyed our meal on vacation. The food was good and Shawna was a fantastic waitress. She was very friendly and helpful.
What a fantastic place to eat in Murrells Inlet! The food was amazing, both looks and taste. The new owner Bobby and his crew have done a wonderful job and he even took time to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, that's something you don't see every day. Jules did an amazing job as our waitress as well. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Great experience all around! Hostess and waitress were so friendly. I had the scallop appetizer and it was amazing, so flavorful with huge scallops. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. My friend had the oysters and loved them. Definitely be back!
Went to American Steak and Oyster Bar because we were told to try it by a trusted friend. Amazing food and really nice atmosphere. Our server, Liz, told us about the specials and took our orders straight away. I was impressed with the way she fact checked our order before she left the table. Our food was great, the atmosphere is wonderful and we will be back!

What a wonderful spot right in Murrel’s Inlet. We love being able to make a reservation online especially with a little gal in tow. We ordered the raw oysters and clams which were fresh and delicious. The burnt ends were tender and tasty. We ended up getting the Chilean Sea Bass special was devine. Had a booth overlooking the water. They are still waiting on their liquor license but hopefully will have it within the week. Gregory was great and took wonderful care of us. Don’t walk, run here!!
My friend and I had the most amazing dining experience at this restaurant last evening! Raw oyster appetizer (biggest oysters I’ve ever seen) were fresh and delicious. My prime rib was cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the pork belly and scallops appetizer and gave me a taste… to die for!We were given the warmest welcome by all of the staff from the hostess, to the server, to the general manager. Even the executive chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us and make sure that everything was to our liking!You must check out this newly reopened establishment, you will not be disappointed!!!
Wow, I am blown away! What an upgrade from what the restaurant once was. While the food has always been good, I have to say the food is now unbelievably GREAT! Hats off to the new owners and team. My family and I will definitely be back soon!!
Great atmosphere. Very nice staff and service. Most of the food was pretty good or at minimum, prepared properly. Portions for $ spent was WAY off. Got the meat board "for 2". It was $60 and came with 4 small slices of brisket, 2 small pieces of pork belly "steak" (really just pork belly) and a small chicken quarter. Burnt ends on the starters was amazing. Looks like they're trying to turn back some previouse problems, but they need to add to their portions or add another "$" to google.
