Used to be a good neighborhood bar for a quick bite to eat but it is definitely not quick. Service is so slow and has gone down hill. Past few times we have gone, we sat outside waiting and were seen by the server but ignored so we left. Won't be back which is a shame because it is very close by. ?
Woman who came over to us said “we’re not allowed to have dogs” I have a service dog for medical reasons, told her this and she replied that I did not matter to her. Told her it is illegal for her to deny me and she said I did not have to be rude. This operation is disgusting. It is 100% illegal to deny someone service with a service animal.
We stopped for a meal at Woodward Tavern for the first time not having a recommendation from anyone so we didn't really know what to expect. The place is very nicely clean and welcoming. It was around 5 PM on a Tuesday and there was a good crew of people seated at the bar (happy hour) and a couple of the booths were occupied but many were empty. My wife and I chose a booth but were considering taking one of the many tables outside (all were empty at the time...might do that next time). My wife chose the "Beer Cheeseburger" and side salad...I chose the Patty Melt and french fries. Both choices were outstanding! I was surprised to see that the prices were discounted 20% during happy hour (3-6pm). Service was prompt, very friendly and pleasant. We'll return to the Woodward Tavern for sure.

Nice bar atmosphere. Food was good and so was the service. Burger and salad were excellent and prepared perfectly.

Truly surprised. Expected another bar food experience. Burger was perfectly prepared. Salad was fresh and didn't have nagged food taste. Tater tots........always perfect! Service was exceptional. Nice atmosphere and clean. Will go again.

Great sports pub, dropped in grabbed some good food and a few beers to watch a game.
Delicious food as always. Definitely get the sweet potato chicken salad ! You won't be disappointed!
