I’m new to town and my husband and I were looking for a good sushi place. I have to look no further we’ve found one of our new favorite restaurants. We were hesitant to try after reading a bad review about service. But let me tell you they couldn’t have been more wrong. We came in last night which was a Friday night and as you’d expect they were very busy.We got seated right away and our server greeted us within the same minute. And next thing we knew we had our drinks, we didn’t know which rolls to get because they have such a big menu but our server I think his name was Andrew guided us through the menu and told us some of his favorite rolls. We ended up just going with his suggestions and everyone of them were amazing. Even with them being busy we didn’t wait very long for our food. We loved it so much we came back today for the brunch specials they told us about. And to no surprise they were just as good as the night before. I wish I remembered to take pictures but I am very happy we ended up trying wasabi and we will be back very soon!!
Don’t waste your time. Tasted like frozen Chinese food from the grocery store. Filthy restaurant with a broken glass next to the restroom that every employee walks around.Waitress came to the table 3 or 4 times.Constantly 4-5 young employees hanging out at the hostess stand talking and laughing while only 5 tables in the restaurant had people.If you want to be ignored come here.Absolute embarrassment with zero management.
AMAZING!!! I came all the way from Atlanta for this place. Every year I come to Charleston for the Superbowl, working on the 13 year tradition, but a buddy of mine just moved to Mt Pleasant and I always make it a point to come here to kickoff the weekend. Everything is so fresh, and I'm a stickler for fresh sushi. They even have hibachi options, Pad Thai and fried rice options. The staff os amazing, helpful, patient and so friendly. Our server was Megan and she's the absolute best! A wrong sushi roll was delivered to our table, but the turnaround time for the correction was so quick. I cant say enough good things about this place. And as always, I can wait to come back here and get my sushi fix!
Had lunch here today with my brother who is a food travel writer for DC life magazine. Hopeful it would be good since he travels to restaurants and reviews them for a living to huge audiences. We ordered Pad Thai and the chicken was probably leftover from before Christmas as it had a potent taste - potentially rotting. The chicken was also unseasoned. It tasted like someone baked a chicken breast , threw it in the dish and tried to disguise it with the pad Thai sauce. We both left our plates completely full. The first word out of my brother’s mouth was “ew this is rotting.” Save the $ and order Chinese takeout .
SO DANG good. Great quality, hand grated Wasabi that's out of this world and amazing rolls.Highly recommend the geisha roll.
Never a bad meal and everything always comes out looking perfectly presentable and very fresh. Forgot to take pics of the meal cuz we were Stuffing our faces?
Amazing food!! Very impressed with the quality and flavor! Server was super nice too! Not from Charleston but will be back when we come back!
Wish I could give it 10 stars!I had an amazing dining experience at Wasabi in Mt Pleasant. The restaurant came highly recommended and still managed to exceed my expectations. Everyone was friendly and the decor was chic yet comfortable. Anthony was so friendly, helpful and attentive, he made us feel like family. As a first timer there, he helped us navigate the menu to our personal palates and his recommendations were on point! Don’t miss the Lotus Flower and Eel with Shrimp Tempura rolls. Equally delicious, the Twice Cooked Chicken and Pad Thai came out well prepared and presented. I don’t usually order dessert, but we couldn’t resist the fried cheesecake with green tea ice cream. Big enough to share, but you may not want to. Perfect ending to a perfect meal.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was EXCELLENT. Sushi was delicious.The staff was pleasant.
