The hungry detective received a lead for this spot from a patron at Stacks just up the road in Mount Pleasant… It’s got a cool atmosphere with a bar and outdoor indoor patio seating which is kind of unique… The bartender Ryan has a great personality and is outgoing and is a true mixologist and makes an old-fashioned the way it should be made… I had the beef option cook medium rare it was wonderful along with fried oysters which were cooked to perfection. VERDICT: Guilty for providing great drinks and food in a cool spot

Zoe was a great Server, very attentive and knowledgeable of the Menu. And of course, Ryan is top drawer at the Bar

Our waiter was really good, very attentive. The fried oysters were delicious! We both ordered Arugula salad and added piece of salmon for protein, we were charged $20 a piece for the salmon, making our salads about $36 each. We found the wine and mixed drinks pretty pricey.

Josh, our server was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and the specials, as well as being quite attentive. The dirty martinis and the oyster shooters were excellent. My husband had the Tasso Shrimp & Grits, delicious. I went with one of the two fish specials, Monkfish, outstanding. Topsail gets my recommendation.

The Sea Scallops and She Crab soup were both delicious! We also shared a lovely bottle of Laguna Chardonnay. We will definitely dine here again.

Overall, we had a good meal with good service. However, it is pricey.

Everything went perfect.. OMG.. THE FOOD IS 20/10 SUPER DELICIOUS.. Plus the waiter I had, super awesome and perfect... He got a very nice tip.. I WILL BE BACK

Nice establishment, service was prompt,. Seafood was cooked properly but crab cakes were basically breading. The mussels looked delicious but we didn't get to try them. Menu was to limited for our taste. It's worth a try.

We had a great waiter. I wish I could remember his name to include it in the review, but he was great, one of the best I've had in a while. The food was good too. The lobster deviled eggs wasn't that great though. The turtle cheesecake was the best part of the meal.

For an obvious conversion from gas station garage with roll up door, Topsail was a delightful surprise. I would put it up against ALL other restaurants in both Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. First off Joe was the best, a real pro at all aspects of service. The food was beyond exceptional. Added touch was hush puppies with cajun spiced honey & butter spread. Lobster dishes excellent. Whole fish and portion fish dishes outstanding. 70s music selections added to bar flavor - bistro ambiance. Again, Best In Area, definite return among dozens in Shem Creek area that cannot compare. Compliments all around Topsail, bravo.
