We came in from out of town and saw the reviews and wanted to try it out. The bartender was super nice and quick. We only ordered chicken tenders to go but let me tell you. They were magical. As my friend said, “they put the tender in chicken tender” the perfect crisp, great seasoned fried, and really good honey mustard. It was our first meal of the trip and we still haven’t stopped talking about how they were!
I resisted going there because from the outside it didn't look like much but man fantastic Philly cheesesteak and they had a terrific bluegrass band on a Tuesday night apparently they are there every week. I can't wait to go back. The only constructive criticism I have is they went real heavy on the salt on the fries and the onion rings for everyone at my table so maybe just hold off a little bit on that that's an easy fix :-)
Food was very good bar food. Drinks were good! People were friendly.
In town to visit my Cadet from The Citadel. Said he loves this place, so I said I want to try. Was not disappointed. This place has a great vibe, everyone is friendly. And the owner served our booth. Hamburgers are outstanding. ANd the onion rings are incredible. Looking forward to coming back and drinking some beers with the other great patrons
Hank was awesome!! Very friendly and GREAT DRINKS!! Started with potatoes skins, I got Chicken wings and fries, and my girlfriend got Barbacuba and onion rings. All was great, food, drinks and service!! Also a bonus cause I got to put money on the wall (which is one of my favorite things to do!)

Just everything cozy, great music, awesome bartenders, kind humans, FRESH SQUEEZED JUICE and most importantly, always a good belly laugh! You cannot find a better local bar on any local island…. Even your own #facts
The Southern Bar & Grill on. Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for delicious burgers, sandwiches, and fries and drinks. I really like the location and laid back atmosphere that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and willing to help make sure that you have the best meal.
