This is a hidden gem. If you dont lije grits there are other options. The burger looks wonderful. It a quaint spot. The flavors blended well.
My wife surprised me with a beautiful weekend getaway for my birthday. We came across this outstanding restaurant, and had a breakfast you won't believe. The service was great and the food was excellent, with a glass of wine. If you’re in the area you must go to enjoy the experience. We'll visit again , garentee. We recommend this establishment to friends and family.
Amazing meal. Fresh and delicious! Portions are of good size. Thank you for a great meal! I had the byob with smoked tomato grits, collard greens, corn and scallions. Also had fried green tomatoes. This meal was very satisfying.
Visited here with grandkids yesterday. We were visiting the Patriots Point museum and this place was really close and convenient. Only open until 3:00 but this worked well for lunch. I believe they are open for breakfast as well.Best shrimp and grits I've ever had! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This place was on our "Charleston City Tour Pass." We had a coupon for $7 off. I must admit I was stunned when it said $18 for a bowl of shrimp and grits, but oh my was it worth it! I will go to this place every time I visit Charleston! I had the Smoked gouda grits with gouda mornay sauce, grilled shrimp, roasted brussel sprouts, and roasted corn. It was amazing! I highly recommend this to everyone in the area.
Love this place! I always tell my friends who come to Charleston to definitely go here. They have the best grits that I have ever had. And on top of this, there are so many options. I like to create my own bowl. Definitely check out there green tomato bacon jam as well, I always have it with my gouda grits.
Great tasting and amazing customer service! Cashier was so attentive and made suggestions based on dietary needs, food was fast and tasty. Highly Recommend!!
IMO probably the best place to eat lunch in Mount Pleasant. Easily accessible from downtown (it's literally at the foot of the Ravenel Bridge) you can sit inside or outside. You can build your own bowl (with a wide choice of grits which are delicious), or just order one of the signature grit bowls. Feel free to ask the employees as they are knowledgeable and very helpful. Never had grits? Don’t be scared. They’re very tasty (fixed the proper way) and combined with shrimp, chicken or other proteins and veggies you’ll likely want to return for more. There are some good places to eat in MP for lunch, but the menu here, the totally delicious food, the airy, light-filled room and great menu make this my new go to place to meet for lunch.
Well with the drive from Summerville. Our group of 6 ordered 3 appetizers and could have ordered a fourth and had been happy with that. But, we ordered entrees which were amazing. Three if us had the pork chop which was big and tasty and cooked to perfection. I'm not a big fan of Brussel Sprouts but these were delicious. On in our group had the flounder and declared it the best meal he had had in the area since moving her 4 years ago.
OMG !! Who knew grits could be this good? Best shrimp and grits! The Apple pie grits is a must try!! And the Apollo?? Amazing ! The serving size is definitely more than enough. Good vibe and atmosphere! This was a very great experience and I’m definitely going back and spreading the word to everyone!! Shoutout to Paul !! He’s awesome!!
