The food today was more than delicious. Our waiter name was Quinton and his service was amazing. He did not miss a beat with what we needed or asked for. This made things even better. We had Tuna and crab stuffed mushroom appetizers then the steam pots for the entrees. The garlic and old bay seasoning is a must. Quinton added extra for us as we requested! I love this place!

Today I decided that for an early Mother’s Day dinner I wanted to go here. I had heard good things and I was super excited. I made reservation and today we drove there the 45 minutes. We arrived and our waiter Dave was friendly and very knowledgeable. We order our drinks and he had great suggestions. We order our appetizers and when they come our they were both delicious. But our drinks for $12 are small and very water down. So very disappointed. We have been to many different restaurants around this area since moving here and this is the first place where our drinks turned out to be so water down. Then our dinners come out.I order the grilled seafood trio, with corn on the cob. First of all I was not offered butter for my corn it was just plain. No sauces for my seafood just plain not even a slice of lemon. Everything was ok, but my corn was ice cold, almost like they took it out of the fridge and put it on my plate. Yuck.I told Dave who said he would get me another one, but I did not get it till way after I was done with my dinner, unfortunately after taking the first bite I could tell the outside was hot but the middle ice cold. Yuck.By this time Dave had told us that he was bringing us more water 4 different time. No water yet.My husband order the bacon cheeseburger. As he is allergic to shell fish. Dave said he would add that note when putting the order in. He also asked for no lettuce or tomatoes on his cheeseburger, just plain. When it come it had no cheese, no bacon but it did have the lettuce and tomatoes as well as burned buns. When he told Dave, he said he would go get him the bacon and cheese. He then return to tell us that they had run out of bacon and as soon as it was ready they would send it out. I truly expected for a so call higher end restaurant to send a new cheeseburger just the way my husband had order it. We waited and waited and as just as the rest of us had almost finished our dinners Dave brings a plate with extra crispy bacon and a slice of cheese and no new buns. He told Dave that they forgot his new buns and Dave said he would go get them. I told my husband to send it all back and get a new cheeseburger as by that time it was all cold, he did not want to wait again so he waited for his buns and eat the cold cheeseburger after we all had finished our dinner. Still no water.I understand having a bad night in the kitchen, but Dave should had had better since and reorder that cheeseburger. It was terrible service. We have had bad kitchen experiences before but the manager and waiter usually work together to try and make things better so that we as customer come back. The experience here was terrible. Dave did offer a small piece of key lime pie for the 4 of us to share as an am sorry. But then I had to asked for new forks for all of us. When it was brought out we were asked who the pie was for? Really??? We will never go back or recommend this place it fail on so many levels. Like I said I understand bad night, mistakes happen but when you are treated like they don’t care about your experience then they don’t deserve for you to either go back or recommend. It was such of wast of $160. Yes, it was a very expensive night for good appetizers, shrimp and grits and a child’s hotdog.

Stopped for some seafood, and was standard restaurant, reminded me of Joe’s Crab Shack. Steampots you only get two clusters of crab legs and one piece of corn and two potatoes, and piece of sausage. Waitress was a bit slow and watched food come from kitchen on tray and sit for about 5 minutes while waitress seems to be running all over the place but not really doing much. Fish sandwich was alright but French fries were cold and hard.

My wife & I sat on the deck on a beautiful, cool evening. Service was good and we started with the she-crab soup, which was delicious. She got the redfish dinner and I got the combo of redfish, scallops and shrimp. The food was excellent,, but the tab was a little on the high side.

good local seafood joint on shem's creek. food and service on the money. crab cakes sinfully good and salmon was cooked to perfection.

If you like going to Corporate type restaurant, this is perfect place. The view is awesome, expansive view of the horizon and creek. Thats about it though.

Place was recommended by a friend. Leland , our sever, recommended some local dishes and he was right on. Get the crab soup! A must for anybody who’s visiting Charleston. Lots of locals there so we knew we were in a great place . Thanks Leland Mike and Michelle from Boston

First time here...very pleasant staff/waitresses. Place was clean and presented nicely. Oysters as app were good. Of a table of four....we got shrimp and grits, Carolina platter and stuffed mushrooms....all the food was excellent....zero conplaints. They had some good local beers on tap. Restaurant is right on the water with awsome views.

Felt touristy with overpriced food. Had the she crab soup and it was ok. We also had the shrimp boil, cx Alfredo and seafood pasta dish. Shrimp boil came with decent amount of shrimp but was light on sausage. The pasta dishes were ok. For the price paid, I’d go elsewhere.

Stopped by for a late weekday afternoon lunch. I ordered the fried scallops. They are difficult to cook properly; one minute too long or short will ruin them. Today, they were perfectly cooked! They were served with fries and tasty cole slaw. Service was excellent. Afterwards, I noticed a charge titled "Non Cash Adjust" on my bill. They charged me 3.75% additional for using a credit card. On top of that, they added a 10.6% sales tax upon my meal AND the "Non Cash Adjust" fee. I didn't think Mastercard and VISA allowed their merchants to impose cedit card fees. As nice as the meal was, I doubt that I will return to this restaurant.
