We went there to get a burger and we were extremely pleased that we did. Friendly atmosphere, our waiter was very knowledgable and our burgers were very tasty. The onion rings are to die for. Great beer selection too. This will be one of our go to places when we visit Mount Pleasant.

Relaxing, laid-back environment. The burgers were good - a focused menu with lots of options to customize. The staff is very friendly and aims to please.

Truthfully I was debating writing this review because the issue brought up was made right by our waitress. Me and my girlfriend wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Pros: Spiked Milkshake, Giant Onion Rings, good service. Cons: Burgers.... Which is a shame because it's slated as a burger joint. We were served raw meat. The beef still looked like ground raw beef. The beef tasted raw, looked raw, felt raw. It was made right by our waitress with comping the food, however we only had a couple bites of our food before leaving....If you want a spiked milkshake or some good onion rings, pretty solid! If you want a burger, ask for anything above medium because medium rare was (Gordon Ramsey) RAWWWWWWW!

Though good, I hoped it would be better. I will say the sweet potato fries were some of the BEST I've ever had (light, crispy, flavorful)! But the black bean burger sliders were pretty boring (and yes, black bean burgers can be awesome, like Twisted Root in Dallas...I've literally had dreams about their burgers!) You get to choose 3 different versions with the sliders so I had the South Carolina, Gourmet, and Park Circle. I liked all the topping combinations, but had to dip my sliders into ketchup to give them some moisture/flavor. It's cool that Sesame has their own house condiments, but a little warning for ya: the mustard is really freaking spicy! Like nose burn after too much wasabi spicy. Just use a few drops ;) Would I go back? Yes (for the good service and interesting beers), but I'm not in a rush...and will keep searching elsewhere for a better veggie burger in Charleston.

We've always been huge supporters of local and have visited this restaurant many times over the years. Somehow today's lunch (3/19/22) was lacking in many ways. We arrived after the lunch rush around 2pm and Jennifer was our server. After taking drink and food orders she sort of disappeared. After about an hour we still had not been served but no Jennifer. When the food arrived at 3:15pm three of our five orders were not right specifically lacking what was ordered. We appreciate the offers to make things right; however, no amount of gift cards will ever take the place of good service. Sadly this is what has happened three of our four last visits.Hopefully you will turn this around and make this again one of our best MP eateries.By the way when you advertise a double bacon cheeseburger as a special please make sure you explain that means double bacon not double burger.

If I could leave more stars I would, all of the bartenders, especially Danielle have been phenomenal, she also handled an unruly patron with class and composure! The one time I sat at a booth I was blown away by the professionalism of every single one of the servers, Kass really blew our socks off with the menu recommendations and prompt drink refills.

I really don't like reviews I see here at TA that are all about service complaints without really saying much about the food or the pricing or the atmosphere. But here I am to complain about the service. We visited for a Saturday late lunch on a sunny but cool day - granted Sat lunch at a popular suburban restaurant is likely to be busy. And it was busy - hostess said probably 45 min's wait for an indoor table, but outdoors we could sit down right away, so we did. Even the outdoor tables were quite busy, so it took several minutes before a server arrived. She graciously took our full order, and came back a short time later to point out that no hot tea was available and offered to brew fresh coffee if anyone wanted that (and one of us did). Then, it was as if we had been stranded on a desert island. About 20 min's later, the coffee showed up with assurances that our food order was being worked on. But the total wait for the food was AN HOUR! By that time, we had moved inside because of the cold. We were told that a rush of DoorDash orders delayed ours. Hey! We are sitting right there! To heck with the DoorDash folks - they can wait. Granted the food that we had (a cowboy burger, a Caesar salad, a black bean burger w pimento cheese, and a custom burger plus 2 milkshakes and a craft beer) were all very good. But late lunch almost became supper. Prices are relatively high for a burger place - most burgers are about $13 and any sides (FF or whatever) are extra.

The worst chicken wings I’ve ever tried. Teriyaki sauce doesn’t taste like one at all. Just sooo salty! And the fries has no flavor at all and weird texture. It tasted frozen. It probably is not freshly made.

I've always loved Sesame Burgers, but this past order was just bad all around. My wife ordered curbside; get to Sesame only to find out there's no curbside parking. Park in the lot and call to get my food (It was around the due time) and was told it wasn't quite ready yet. I wait 20 minutes in the parking lot, and finally call again to check on my food. I was told 'it just came out of the kitchen' and would be brought to me.Get home to discover I'm missing an order of fries and a drink that apparently was ordered as well. Oh.....AND OUR FOOD WAS COLD. I live less than 10 mins away, so I doubt the food that 'just came out of the kitchen' was hot and fresh.-Missing parts of order-20 minutes past an already long wait time-Food was DEFINITELY NOT hot and freshPicture attached is our order of pickle spears...we also ordered....

Pricey place but it is worth it!!! The elk burger was awesome as well as the White Russian milkshake!!
