The servers are nice people, can’t complain about them as people. But the cleanliness is really tough here. Floaties in all the drinks, bugs in the margs. Two people in our party split a meal and the extra plate had a bug and a small curly hair (about 2in) on it. Not sure how that really can happen. Also, the decor is kind of disconcerting, all the old, mismatched chandeliers make it look more like an escape room then somewhere you want to get a burrito. The food itself wasn’t great either, not awful but not great, and worrying about the cleanliness made it feel a lot worse.
Worst Mexican food I have had and my companion felt the same way. Everything was sour tasting as if they put too much lemon juice in everything. Rice was orange in color but no flavor other than lemon juice. Shrimp were completely tasteless, like chewing on nothing. Refried beans were soupy. A complete waste of money and a disappointment as the place was crowded so we had high expectations. Even the complimentary tortillas were awful, overcooked and dry. I have had better Mexican food in New England. It was cheap quality food for too much money. The service was good. Never going back. With so many Mexican restaurant around and we unfortunately picked this one.
Perfect ✨✨✨✨
Great service, not so great food. Was hoping for good Mexican food (cheese dip, beef burrito, quesadilla, etc) Food just wasn’t that great in comparison to other places. Very disappointing as the service was great and it’s one of the few Mexican spots in Mt. Pleasant.
I really enjoyed my trip to Santi's in Mount Pleasant! I was expecting a crowd, but we only waited 5 minutes to be sat at a cute little table tucked away by the window. The margaritas didn't have the best flavor I've ever had, but they were good enough and left a buzz. The food was great - we had chips and queso, the veggie burrito, and enchilada suizas. Everything tasted fresh and came out really fast! Though it took a few minutes to be greeted at the door, the service during the meal was fine and we had a nice time! Will definitely return, as this was much better and more authentic (with similar prices) than most Mexican restaurants in town. Recommended! :)
We've been wanting to give Santi's a try for years when we come to town, but for some reason we haven't been able to make it work. So glad we gave it a try last night. There were 4 of us and we each had something different. We all agreed we WILL return! Reminded me a bit of the Mexican food I've had in California. We loved the chips and salsa.
Best Margaritas in the world!Truly amazing.Servers are very friendly. Nice outdoor covered space.Food is good with huge servings.Flan is ok, could be better. We loved it overall.
This is a super fun little family run bar and Mexican restaurant. The bartender is super cool and the food is delicious. If you like Mexican and you want a drink go here for sure.
Lived in the area for almost a year and tried this place on a whim last night. It was exactly as I wanted out of a local Mexican joint... Tasty and no frills. I would definitely go back and recommend it.
It the owner/operators that make it great. Salsa is delicious and the chips are thick and crunchy. I will tell you my favorite item next time I go.
