Fantastic food. Dante is amazing; please ask for him anytime you’re here. Great atmosphere. Food came out faster than we thought (in a good way) for it being a busy Saturday night. Love this place. Attention to detail is unmatched.
Wow! So impressed with this restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and didn’t miss a beat! They were so busy (which is a great sign with all the restaurants here!) and well staffed. The tortillas were so fresh and the rice was the best! I live in an area with a ton of Mexican restaurants and theirs is truly the best!
Very impressed with this place! We came here on the day i got engaged with about 25 friend and family and the staff did an great job accommodating us. They got all of our orders right and the food was great! They only struggle was paying for the food with a large group. Other than that we had a lovely experience!
San Miguel Mexican grill & bar in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for delicious and fresh food in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I really like the location and the level of customer service that they have available here. Great overall experience every time.
This was the best restaurant we went to during our week vacation. Lots of seating and immediately sat unlike every other restaurant we tried that week. They are well staffed and attentive to customers which is also unlike all other restaurants we tried. Warm chips and salsa is included and arrived quickly to the table and was so good. My husband and I loved our meals. I had chicken fajitas and my husband had a burrito. The price was shockingly cheap especially considering the amount of food we got. We will be back to this restaurant.
My friend and I came here to eat for dinner while visiting Charleston for a few days. We sat outside with how nice the weather was. Our waiter was welcoming and polite. I got the cucumber and mint cocktail, which was refreshing and cooling in the SC heat. I ended up getting the mexican street tacos with pollo asado. They were filling and the chicken tasted superb. Only thing that knocked it down to 4 stars was that my drink came out about 15 minutes after i ordered it and I was close to being done with my meal.
Been here many times. Never had an experience like tonight until now. Came with my mom and our waiter failed to pay attention to anything we asked. We ordered drinks, it took over 20 minutes before our waiter came back (without drinks) to tell us that a certain flavor was out. We changed our order and he still brought out the wrong drinks. We kindly let him know that it wasn’t what we had ordered, and he said he would fix it only for that to result in another waiter taking over making us feel like we were in the wrong. New waiter is awesome, actually writes things down and pays attention. So disappointed
I had an absolutely terrible experience here! I live over 30 minutes away I have always enjoyed their food until tonight. The person at the front was extremely rude when picking up my food I got halfway home to realize they handed me the wrong order. I called as I turned around to let them know that they handed me the wrong order. When I got there I was told it was my fault that I should’ve checked the bag and that I had to pay yet again for the new order when the other order amount already came out of my account ! I will never never never ever be going back to this place the person at the front started yelling at me and raising his voice and told me to just leave. Now my family is left hungry and I’m annoyed. The worst customer service ever!

We've been looking for a go to Mexican restaurant ever since we moved here 2 years ago and this place is it. The fajitas, chips and salsa, and queso we're all amazing and the skinny margaritas are some of the best we've had. They have a very nice outdoor patio perfect for outdoor dining. Highly recommend San Miguel!
