My husband and I can't get enough pizza, so when we moved to Dunes West from lower Mount Pleasant, we were excited to try a new pizza spot. In less than 2 weeks we've already been to Rivertowne Pizza twice. It is so good! The pizza is chewy and crunchy in all the right spots, and the flavor can't be beat. A true New York style pizza. And the garlic knots... OMG! They might be the star of the meal. Although it's not the type of place we'd go for a sit down meal at the restaurant, I can see us becoming regulars when we are looking to have carryout/delivery pizza at home. We will be back soon!

First time trying this place after a few in the area, by far the best tasting and authentic “northern pizza” around town 10/10 recommend for pizza any given day.

Wow, WOW! Every single item we ordered was spectacular. Pizza sauce and dough top knotch! The Caesar salad had fresh croutons and an amazing creamy Parmesan dressing that had the perfect touch of garlic. THEN both pieces of cake (peanut butter and chocolate, carrot cake) were delicious fresh and moist!

Pizza was cold and dough was not cooked, we usually love this place but something definitely changed!!

Excellent pizza, meatballs and garlic knots! Fresh and delicious! A must try!

was underwhelmed by the pizza here, was pricey and the pizza size wasn’t the largest. additionally, the staff inside didn’t make me feel like a valued customer when I was picking up my pizza, the interaction was very impersonal.

The calzone I had was good, loved the sauce. However, the reason for 2 stars was due to terrible customer service. You can have excellent food, but when your attitude stinks, you risk losing customers. As I walked in, I said "Hi, how are you?" The girl didn't respond in kind, didn't even smile, just asked if I was picking up. Then the gentleman who informed me my order would be ready in 10 minutes (which was right on time) did so with the most un-friendly tone and also no smile. They both looked very unhappy. I returned 10 minutes later and was handed my order. No "thank you," "have a nice day," nothing from any of the 3 people inside. Same look of contempt, as if the customer is unworthy of any regard. Neither I, nor my employees, will be returning.

Staff is very rude. The nicest people are the children who ring up orders or answer the phone. The owner, Ryan, is often screaming in the back or mumbling under his breath about his employees. The pizza is alright, but too expensive and not good enough to overshadow the rudeness of the owner and certain staff.

What I liked about this place was the asthetic. Being from NY, this had the exact vibe that a real NY pizzeria has. The decor, the size, just everything. A lot of pizza places in Charleston care more about the looks of the restaurant and less about the food. These people care more about making a real NY pizza.I got a pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good! Sauce is sweet, but the crust has great flavor. I wasn't a fan of the char on the crust, but it didn't ruin the pizza itself. A plus is being able to get a 16" for the price of a small "artisan" pizza at place like evo or monza.Id definitely recommend this place, just not to people looking for a dining experience or tiny pizza thst cost $15.

We frequently order delivery/pick up and it’s always good, and today was no exception. We ordered baked ziti pasta and unfortunately they were out of the ziti pasta but asked if they could do a substitution and we said yes. It was delicious! Looking forward to (hopefully) being able to order that again!
