Ordered the creamy Lobstah roll on a toasted bun (was more like lobster salad, a bit dry on a non toasted, semi stale bun), low country reds in butter with parsley seasoning (I got dry boiled potatoes with some seafood seasoning) and pineapple coleslaw that was dry, chunky and bland. I was lucky to find one lonely piece of pineapple!). On a good note, we had oysters on the half shell that where decent, chicken wings (kinda hard to mess those up) and peel and eat shrimp. Our server was lovely and attentive, too bad food wasn’t the same.A little effort goes a long way!!

Visiting my daughter in Mount Pleasant and wanted an outdoor dining experience. Reds had a nice menu and great prices on drinks. We had buckets of rum drinks for $10 each! Great deal! We enjoyed the pork nachos as our appetizer. I had a delicious grilled grouper sandwich. So fresh!! My daughter had a shrimp po boy and my husband had a fried seafood platter! Great portions and good service! Definitely would come back. Only negative was the paid parking because the free lot was full. $15 for 4 hours of parking.

We visited on a Monday evening (so not a weekend) there were plenty of people working and lots of empty tables but we were told the wait was an hour and 15 minutes. We unfortunately waited. Or server was the worst I’ve had here. We both ordered the fish and chips which was not good. The breading was “doughy”. I probably will not ever eat here again.

We asked at the visitor center about lunch dining. This was one of the restaurants mentioned so we tried it. We were seated inside in the AC. Our table was so wobbly there was no way we could have eaten on it. So tried 2 more and selected the least wobbly. He ordered 6 roasted oysters and their famous grouper sandwich--thought both were average. My tuna poke was pretty good but not memorable like some I have had at other places. Over all average food but a fun laid back place. Our server, LE Greasey, was really good with a fun personality. Thanks Le Greasey.

This was our first time in Shem Creek and someone recommended Reds to us. As soon as we got there I got to see a dolphin! Our server was amazing (I believe her name was Lauren I'm awful with names)! My husband and I split the Lobster Mac and cheese and the Low country Boil. It was some of the best seafood I've ever had. We are already planning when we can get away again to come down and eat again.

We were visiting Charleston SC. We stopped to eat at this restaurant the service was great. We order the scallop platter and added a skewer of shrimp came with 5 scallops, 5 shrimp fries and vegetables, The scallops were seared perfect and the shrimp was also done to perfection. The building is the old ice house for shrimper's in the early 30;s, We will return

We we on vacation near Charleston South Carolina; Reds is in a nearby area called Shem Creek. They were full but when we checked in the hostess said a 20 minute wait and it was 25! AND my dog was given a bowl of water.? We shared the seafood platter and added fried grouper. Perfect amount of food for us. Service was great, food was tasty and hot. I was over dressed, shorts, t-shirts and flip flops were the norn.

Place gets crowded, but servers are attentive. Had the Killer Shrimp & Hushpuppies. The shrimp were excellent, great sauce. The hushpuppies lacked flavor, but dipping them in the shrimp sauce was great. The Red's margaritas were ok, but once they added the Grand Marnier shot, they were much better.

Pretty location but that’s about it. We had pretty bad customer service from the front of house and our waitress (acted like they didn’t want us there). I ordered the grilled seafood platter with shrimp, scallops, crab cake and hush puppies. My friend ordered the low country boil. Food came out warm but burnt on the underside and when I asked if my platter came with hush puppies the picture above is what she gave me (2 hush puppies in total). Totally understanding of the long waits and busy restaurant but we weren’t treated the best.

We had a great time enjoying some cold beverages while we watched the boats, dolphins, and pelicans. We had to wait for a table but who cares when you have so much to watch plus people, and music! Food was very good too.
