Everything circled was supposed to be half off for happy hour. We go here at least once a week during happy hour.Story:We asked hostess to sit in the bar area (we know you can only get happy hour in the bar section), he asked if we want booth or high top, we say booth (which we have sat at times before). We are given the happy hour menu and we order, almost everything, off of that menu. Once we got the bill we asked for the manager, Brian, who proceeds to tell us the waitress and hostess are new and were suppose to tell us our table isn’t happy hour. THIS IS NOT OUR FAULT. Brian said he could not do anything about it, shrugged his shoulders, and walked away. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a very long time, this is not how you treat customers.We will not be returning ever again and have already convinced others on not returning either.
Went for happy hour. Hostess asked if we wanted table or booth in bar area. Sat in booth. Was handed a happy hour menu and ordered from that. When we got our bill we were charged regular price for everything! Spoke to mgr(Bryan) and he told us booth didn't get HH prices. Really??? We've sat in booth numerous times in bar and got HH prices. Bryan/mgr refused to do anything. Needless to say, WE WONT GO BACK!!
Just went to pick up some to-go food for my sick wife and I. Very disappointed. I give 3 stars because not all of the food was subpar. But to pay 11$ for 4 chicken fingers with no sauce on them when they are supposed to be Buffalo. Also my wife's ceasar salad is literally lettuce in a box...no croutons or parmesan. I don't normally leave reviews, but when you are craving something and excited for it, you're expectations are little high. But even if my expectations were low, these items would still disappoint.
I can't remember being at this place before so I went in based on a recommendation from a relative. When I got there on a Final Four Saturday evening, it was bumping. I sat at the bar and was immediately served. My order came out quickly and was very good. It might be one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The BBQ Burger is Top Notch! I was impressed with the barkeep as she was on her game even with all the chaos around her.
The secret is out! This is THE place for happy hour with great prices and super delicious hamburgers. Sliders or the truffle burger yummmmm. Great service personnel. Get there early though, it's packed
Well my husband and I went to King Street Grille for our anniversary. We loved the one at Market Commons so we wanted to try the one in Mount Pleasant. Well we was very disappointed with them this time. The service was very horrible and unprofessional. The waitress just looked over us and carried on like it was nothing wrong. Then, she waited on another table that came in after us. We waited for ten minutes without any service. We could understand if it was very busy but it wasn’t. We was the third table that she had to serve before the other couple came in. The other tables already had their orders in, so she didn’t have any other table but us. She could at least came and took our drink order or something. When the waitress finally came, we asked, why the wait? Her response was, “I had other tables to wait on”. My husband and I looked around, “like what other tables you had to wait on”, when she went to another table that came in after us. So long story short, we would not suggest King Street Grille in Mount Pleasant unless they work on their service. Date was Jan. 9, 2022 at 5:15pm Sunday evening.
Very delicious food. They have fried Mac N' Cheese Egg rolls which are so good. There burgers are cooked to your liking and they are just all around very good.
DO NOT GO THERE!!! we have been there many times & each time the wait staff & management has gotten worse. I had a family reunion over the holidays & we decided to go for dinner. I was shocked at the VULGAR language used by our waiter when we where seated. We where told they where short staffed & keep our 2 & 4 year old quiet or get the F—- out. We had just sat down minutes before & our children where very quietly playing with dinosaurs on the table. I understand they where stressed being short handed but do not take it out on your customers. Especially to use vulgar language in front of young children
I have never been more embarrassed before in my life. We went into King Street this evening to watch the Clemson Grill and was verbally abused by a waitress and the manager on duty. Absolutely terrible situation and we left before it got carried away. I would not suggest ever going in the place.
This was a fun spot next to my hotel. It was not busy, so service was fast and the food came out quick. I am a huge fan of chopped salad, so building my own was perfect! I topped it off with blackened salmon and it was cooked just right! The only thing I would have changed was at least having a cider offering, especially the local brand out of Charleston, which is great!
