The restaurant did not greet us and 10 minutes in no one ask us for any orders. Numerous complaints from othe guest around us. Bad venue period do not recommend
This is a start up restaurant in a new hotel. The food n service is very good. It works for guests that donât leave the hotel. The free hot breakfast goes beyond expectations. Everyone was pleasant and Iâll eat there again. Anyone that writes a negative review doesnât travel much if at all. This hotel in not the normal Embassy Suites we know. Try it and write a review.
TERRIBLY SLOW!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Janelle was our server and she made our dinning experience the best we have had in Charleston. My wife had the Salmon and our friends had the fish tacos. I had the Bacon Jam Burger with a fried egg. All of it was excellent and delivered to the table quickly. Upon request Janelle even had the chef come to our table to explain how he made that Fantastic jam. I will be making it tomorrow. The next time I'm in town it's a must stop dinning experience!
Maybe this restaurant is brand new and needs to get organized? In any event, the service was slow, the menu shallow and the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
Food was okay but the service lacked.
Nothing to write home about. Should not have been part of Charleston week. They were out of what they had for specials for restaurant week. Need staff. No ambiance. Won't be going back
Went during the 3-course food week promotion. While I server was energetic, the food was lacking for the $105 bill between two people. A meager cup of soup or salad and the shrimp and grits had a texture true to being frozen. Desert was the best part but the size was clearly trying to make up for the dinner. While the restaurant has a nice overall aesthetic, the customary hotel restaurant seating detracted from it. Additionally, a large group was having a gathering in the middle of the restaurant adding to the corporate feel.
A guest at the Embassy Suites may decide it’s a good option if you don’t feel like going out into one of the richest culinary environments on the planet that Charleston offers But why would you do that? I stumbled upon this restaurant due to a cancellation at a premium restaurant in downtown Charleston and I found it essentially no different than most nameless mid tier hotel restaurants that I have seen in 28 years of frequent businesses travel with one exception. The server was exceptional.
The oysters were Devine!
