I attempted to eat the Mucho Grande Burrito with steak. The steak was overcooked and poorly cut. Half of the meat was inedible because the chef simply doesn't understand how to remove fat off steak. Ontop of that the burrito had chicken in it, which I didn't ask for luckily I'm not allergic. The chicken was bland but better than the half inedible sad excuse for a steak. My niece got stuck with KRAFT Mac n cheese, I felt bad for her I assumed they would have been able to prepare some simple food but no instead they got it from a box and forgot some of the powdered cheese too. The tortilla for the burrito was soggy and gross but I still ate it. I asked for jalapenos and extra spice since I love the heat but the burrito I got had, I counted 4 jalapeno slices, that tasted like they were fresh.. from the can. The service was sub-par our waitress seemed inexperienced and a bit lost almost bumping into my niece who was stretching. If nothing else she wasn't rude but did forget drinks a couple times and past us with some of our food to serve someone else. Their drinks are weak and seem to be inconsistent. The price was OUTRAGEOUS for what it was worth and we didn't get a receipt either. The waitress walked away while we were trying to speak to her as well. In conclusion save yourself some money and go to Taco Bell down the road.

After you get past the chips and salsa there is really only one word for this place - AWEFUL.We went for dinner on a Thursday evening - we should have bought a clue when on a nice evening there were on two tables in use outside - both just having beers, chips and salsa (one also had a cheese dip). From the moment we sat down the service staff rushed us. Before we could even finish taking an initial look at the menu the waitress was impatient.Made us order just some chips and cheese dip and a couple of margaritas and couple of tacos each figuring it would either get better or we would cut it short. Drinks both came out with salt despite us ordering them without and the guy that dropped them off ran away so fast we could not ask to have them fixed. Then we waited 10 minutes for anyone to stop by. Out came our tacos and within 30 seconds we started getting “anything else” every 2 minutes. Finally we asked for the check. My wife was literally extending her hand to dip a chip in the 3/4 full cheese dip and the waitress dropping the salsa bowl on top of it and grabs it up.Take my advise - don’t bother with this place. Too many other really good places including Agaves.

Absolute horrible service. Would ask for limes and would have to wait 10 minutes for them, never got one refill, told our server we wanted cheese queso dip and we never received it. She constantly asked if we was ready to order after we told her we we're still waiting for our appetizer and our cheese dip she finally brought our appetizer and never came back to our table. We waited for 15 minutes and when my wife went inside to ask for our check since we couldn't get any service our server was sitting down in a booth on her phone. When my wife got snappy with them and told them why she wanted the check and to leave they all started speaking in Spanish and rolling their eyes. Very unorganized and disrespectful management. Nobody likes to work anymore and it's a shame what this country has turned into

My family and I came to Charleston for vacation over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to eat at a Mexican restaurant and found this place. WORST RESTAURANT I EVER BEEN TO. My parents ordered a burrito and the salsa tasted like it was out of a can and wasn’t even hot. My sister ordered a shrimp cocktail and the shrimp was RAW. Not to mention the prices for each dish is outrageous for the quality of food they serve. This restaurant isn’t worth nobody’s money or time to go to.

it was a waste of money.... food doesn't have ANY FLAVOR , birria tacos taste really bad, THE BLACK BEANS look like CANNED BEANS, no flavor and they were also hard. Husband order the Guadalajara fajitas and no flavor and it was seating in a puddle of meat juice..he took couple of bites and ask for a to-go box ...(I'm not going to throw away my money ), even the sweet tea was water down . Servers are friendly, food quality BAD BAD BAAAD. NOT COMING BACK!!!

If you are from California and have had REAL Mexican food… DO NOT EAT HERE! You will be HIGHLY disappointed! Everything tastes like it is out of a can or a bag… nothing fresh. I think the carnitas street taco was the most edible thing we ate. Chicken, pastor, steak, and ground beef were all horrible. Chips are fromA bag and salsa from a jar or can. My son had nachos and even the canned cheese looked like it was watered down! DON’T DO IT!

Zero flavor. A mess on the plate.Honestly, this tastes like someone bought the cheapest Sysco options, dumped the ingredients out of the car/jar, did zero prep or seasoning, and served as a meal.Even bad Mexican is delicious, so this needs a new term. This is gas station food, not sit down restaurant food.

Good food. Casual dining. Our server was friendly but not very good at her job. The mixed drinks were VERY light on alcohol. The beer on tap was very cold and refreshing!!

Definitely not a place on the return list. Service was lack luster, food was overcooked. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the area.

so disappointed w my togo lunch order today. $38 w tip for flavorless mushy fajitas w chewy overcooked steak n 4 small shrimp. even soup broth not good. people so nice here but food not as good as it used to be.
