The pizza is so amazing. Worth the wait. If you are wanting you eat in less than an hour, call to order take out.

The pizza sauce is wonderful and unique. It's one of the best pizzas I've ever had and without a doubt the best pizza I've had in Charleston. Even a simple cheese pizza is something special which is uncommonly rare for pizza. The quality of the food is consistent from day to day. I haven't had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. Even the gluten free pizza l tastes like a normal pizza crust which is above and beyond traditional alternative crusts.

Tried this place on our way back from Isle of Palms. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather, atmosphere and food. Pizza was very good. Service was also good. Overall 4 stars.

The pizza was really good and came really close to an Italian pizza. There was a lot topping on it and 18“ was enough for two grown men. The waitress was also very friendly and checked almost too often on us. We let 60$ for 3 people which is really okay.

So disappointed. I love Grimaldi's but this time my calzone wad burnt on the outside and doughy on the inside ???

Great pizza and salad. Went with an 18 inch Brooklyn Bridge pizza which was crisp and without the flop lol. Brickoven style pizza on the medium to thin side. Salad we had the Arugula which was excellent, includes dried cherries and grilled brussel sprouts, better than expected. Service was good even though they were shorthanded. We sat in the bar area and the two bartenders did a great job with bar patrons and the bar tables in that section. Will definitely go back!

We had an awesome time at Grimaldi's. It took us back to the old stomping grounds in Brooklyn, NY. Great day after burning off a few calories at the local fun park nearby.

We just got into Charleston and this place was recommended for good pizza. Well, we ordered a pizza. About 1/2 later the wrong pizza came. Then we waited another 40 minutes and finally a pizza. It was really good but 2 hours from sitting down to being done was terrible. They gave me two different stories. Management told me the first pizza was not done correctly, the waitress said that they were very busy. That didn’t sit right to me. I must say though the pizza was very good. Wine prices were way too high, almost a rip-off. Beer was reasonable.

We visited with our two doggies the night before they both had dental surgery. We were anxious for the next day and we’re seeking a relaxing place to go that was dog friendly. We were staying at the Hyatt so it was a short walk to Grimaldi’s. Leann greeted us on their lovely outdoor patio. We ordered a black olive, mushroom and sausage. Leann promptly brought our drinks out and the pizza followed. We were blown away with how delicious it was, simply great. Leann was so genuinely friendly and really interested in us. Just go, you won’t be dissatisfied and ask for Leann. She’s brilliant.

We came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. Restaurant was not busy (5 pm) . Ordered a 12 inch pizza which had pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. 1/2 way thru we commented we did not see any sausage, we felt they were very skimpy on the meat that we did have for a $21 pizza. Ordered small salads which are large and both of ours were very good. We also had ice tea, husband had to go to the bar to get refills since our waitress never came around to check up on us, not even asking how our meal was. We usually tip 20-25 % , but not this night.
