So this place is really strange.. Almost all the bad reviews have to do with the inconsistent, seemingly made up on the spot prices. Which are much higher than a usual Chinese takeout place. Also the white lady that is always working the counter can come off at best aloof, at worst rude as hell. They are still in full Covid lockdown mode as of 6/22. All that said, the quality of the food is there. With a face lift and better management this place could really be a gem. All in all go there for the food, be prepared to spend about 50% more than usual and deal with some NY city type manners and service.
I would give No stars if i could, Horrible Customer Service, Called and placed an order for my coworkers and I and as it showed online one price and was charged more than double when I paid, When questioned about prices, was told I should have asked over the phone, I said Stated online was one price and looking and the menu right in front of me on THEIR table was another which was also supposedly incorrect, then asked for an itemized receipt and was give a hand written one, I believe it was the owner was extremely rude, told me the prices online were from 10-12 years ago, With todays technology its unacceptable, with looking back at other reviews the over charging goes back 4 years, with multiple complaints, I don't know how they have been getting away with over charging and making prices up day to day as they please, the worst customer service and actually worst chinese food we have ever had

Absolutely stellar Home Style Tofu. They fry it the right way (press and dry the tofu before frying it instead of breading the tofu and attempting to fry it which just leaves it soggy) their shrimp egg roll is also delicious. My husband loves their fried chicken wings. Love their Veggie and Egg Drop soups.
I’m not sure what’s going on at Flaming Wok but I like it! We haven’t ordered in a while because our last experience wasn’t the best. However, tonight’s order was excellent!!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!
WORST PLACE EVER. I ordered my food online and online they posted the would be $6.15. When I picked up my food, I was told that it would be $9.80, and the order included a drink that I did not order. The person who brought me out my food(you are not allowed inside the place) pointed to a handwritten sign on a paper bag that said "Prices may be adjusted due to food shortages"...how hard is it to change menu prices online??? And the food was horrible and did not include the egg roll that I was overcharged for.
When trying to order delivery I was given a price $11.00 over the actual price of the meal when I asked for an itemized receipt, Natalie (who stated that she was the owner/manager) completely refused saying they don't have that there...and that prices have gone up then what is listed???? I asked again for an itemized receipt and she said she was canceling my order and putting me on the do not deliver list. I think a business that refuses to give a customer an itemized receipt is highly suspect. Worst customer service!!! Put on the never order from this restaurant list!! Most of the positive reviews are from friends and family, look at the consistent complaint throughout the reviews

Horrible phone customer service. Hung up on many times. Really creepy girl. Food is good but she makes it repulsive.
Tasty dishes and friendly owners. Highly recommend when the craving hits. My fav is beef with garlic sauce extra garlic, extra spicy! Give it a try.
