Overall: Great option for a casual bar that offers both food and outdoor seating as well.The good: Lots of seating, including a small outdoor area. Good-sized bar area with TVs, and the atmosphere is inviting and casual. Typical bar menu offerings (apps, sandwiches, fried foods, etc.) with the patty melt exceeding my expectations. Meaty, cheesy, gooey, and hot. The fries were crispy and hot as well, and the portion sizes were "healthy", so I left full and happy. Service was friendly and attentive.The not-so-good: It's a Patriots bar (kidding). But really, the only "major" knock I can give it is that the prices are a bit higher than I would've expected.Food/drink: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 8/10
This was such a surprise to lunch in the back facing the BLVD! The area was clean& Astro-turfed. The cafe umbrellas were deep Carolina colors even though it was a Boarshead advertisement. The tables looked great! All freshly painted and inviting. The noise is pretty loud coming from BLVD traffic.Food was so good. Our server was friendly and attentive;she brought our pups a huge bowl of cool water?
Always great service, down to earth staff and fantastic food. Myself and my boys love the chicken tenders and my wife loves the seafood. Can't go wrong here. Well down Dog and Duck team!

Horrible staff. I come here very often until now, me and my little brother were playing cards at the table to pass the time while we waited for our food and one of the staff comes up to the table and tells us “It’s illegal to play cards at restaurants” he said it so loud and exaggerated on purpose for everyone to hear.Looked up the law. It’s actually not illeagal to play cards as long as it’s not gambling, we were literary playing an innocent card game. Maybe if I had money out you could say something but that was very uncalled for.
I won the last round of bingo only to see another person also had apparently won. I find it interesting that the supposed other winner was sitting at a booth with one of the servers. I recognized him because he was my server last week. Told us since we both won we had to do a round off because they only had one prize left. While I lost the round off which basically was we each pick a card and who ever gets the first 2 numbers called wins. In addition I have heard from others basically exactly what I witnessed as well .The first 3 rounds winning cards automatically given to family's with children. And conveniently the last 3 rounds go to adults . They need to be fair and atleast give a small duck and dog gift card to the winner who loses simply because they only have 1 prize left . A winning card is a winning card. Especially disappointing when the person who "won" is friends with the employees .wow to the owners response. You're welcome for all the times we have given your staff 40% tips for the free labor you pass on to customers! !Next time we won't tip if we ever come back! !
