Pretty great vibe here. Feels like a locals spot, but very inclusive to anyone. The clientele has a wonderful diversity that I have seen very little of in the area otherwise. The bar area is well layed out to seat a lot of people but easy for 2 bar tenders to serve them all.Wings are pretty great a reasonably priced. Good beer selection too. Go check it out.

Waiter acted like it was an annoyance to serve us. App came out wrong and when asked about the difference the waiter had no idea about the menu item. Tables sticky, and side plates covered in water. Food was fine, average bar food, no complaints. Service… I understand the shortage of staff but the staff available should try to be up to par.

We are a family of 4. I had the fish tacos which were delicious. My husband liked his wings. My daughter had corn dog nuggets which she liked. My son ordered buttered pasta, but did not care for it as it was whole wheat pasta-not the kind he usually gets. Portions were kind of small so we thought we would ask about dessert. The waitress tells us the desserts are tea expensive, tiny and not worth it. Now that was helpful info. I asked for queso for the nacho chips that came with my fish tacos. It was basically a bowl of black beans with a bit of cheese sauce.

Decided to give DAD a shot after many recommendations from our neighbor (one of the good ones that returns my power tools without asking). Got there just before Happy Hour, though two quite well lit and loud women at the bar seemed to be celebrating their own personal Happy Hour (my kind of bar!). After explaining that we were newbies, our very attentive server took the time to run through the food and drink menu for our benefit. Ordered the tasty 4 buck House Beer once I learned it wasn't another one of those ubiquitous, God-awful IPAS (it was a locally brewed lager). Had to admit that the menu was pretty original, not just another US FOODs/SYSCO order sheet. What really caught my attention were the SUPER JOJOs and GERMAN JOJOs. No idea what they were, but I grew up in a state where Moon Pies, Goo Goos and Collard Greens were mysteries too. Went with the GROUPER BITES (outstanding), the OVEN ROASTED CHICKEN SALAD (outstanding) and the FAST EDDIE COMBO (outstanding). As we waited for our food, I began to notice that there was a distinct "New England" vibe to the place. "Fenway Dogs". "Kayem Brand" products (from Massachusetts - not Sabrett, but very good). A large "PAT THE PATRIOT" sign on the wall directly over our booth was the final straw. All in all, a terrific bar/restaurant with great food and lots of TV sets. My wife and I will definitely come back, especially to watch the NY Giants defeat the NE Patriots in the Super Bowl for the THIRD TIME.

Been here many times since I grew up in mount Pleasant but our sever tonight was the worst experience I’ve had ever had at any of your locations she only checked on us twice my girlfriend had to go to the bar to get another drink because we waited 30 mins after we got our food for her to come by but she never did. Heard a table across from us that she disappeared for them too. My girlfriend and I both work In food and bev and we understand if its busy if you can’t get to your table every time cause you are busy but she only had two Tables. Very disappointed willing to give this location another chance cause I love the rest of the staff and have been a coming here for years since I was a kid. Food was good though just the sever! Thank you boh Staff!

Great place to watch sports and sit outside to enjoy cocktails. Good daily specials and great service. There was a variety of food for all ages.

Loved the locale and the people. It's now a must visit for me and my family when we visit the area.

I never write reviews but I had to after my most recent experience. I grew up in mount pleasant and this place has always been one of my favorites. I order to-go a lot from here and tonight was the worst experience (mostly the customer service) I have ever had at any restaurant. I ordered online and went inside to get my order, drove all the way home to find out that I was given the wrong order. I had the most difficult time trying to get in touch with someone at the restaurant because nobody answered the phone. After several attempts, someone answered. I told her what happen and I was shocked that she didn’t even apologize. Her response was “okay I’ll put that in and it will be ready shortly”. When I arrived, still no apology. They gave me my correct order and the man who handed it to me just said “sorry about that”. And on top of that when I got my correct order, I checked it in the car and it was cold. At the point I just gave up. It was very frustrating because I had drove all the way home and had to come all the way back but got no apology, wasn’t offered a refund or anything. Very disappointed and sad to say I won’t be coming back here anymore.

The Dog and Duck may be a hangout place for younger people. But we enjoyed the experience and the food. Read what I write in that light.Service was prompt, friendly, informative and knowledgable. The food - chicken wings (dry rub), chicken fingers, ruben sandwich and ceasar salad was served promptly with our drinks (a glass if red and white wine, a draught beer and a soda). The music was maybe a little loud, and it was sometimes difficult to conduct a conversation. Yet, it was an enjoyable visit.

Had a nice lunch at the bar, bartender very friendly and good service
