During our week in Charleston, my daughter wanted Italian food. This was the closest place to our hotel so I hoped for the best. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. My daughter loved the fettucine so much we went back a second time during our trip. The best thing I can say is that I have NEVER had a sauce that tasted so much like my grandmother's sauce!! Perfection! The manicotti al forno was AMAZING. I highly recommend!
è perfetto! I loved this place. From the first call to verify I could bring my dog, to the last bite. Everyone was so sweet, the atmosphere on the patio was lovely, like an oasis. And every bite of food was phenomenal, from the fresh herbs in the olive oil to the decadent lasagna and tiramisu. Thank you Cuoco Pazzo for a lovely evening! I'll be bringing friends next time!
Always an outstanding dinner. The dishes are tasty, perfectly seasoned, beautiful presentation and delicious. As good as an Italian Restaurant can be. Decor is upscale, but not pretentious. Host, wait staff and all were very professional. Excellent wine list. Dessert first rate.
This place is incredible! We were not expecting great Italian food in Mount Pleasant, but we were PLEASANTLY surprised! Jim was an EXCELLENT waiter; timely, polite, gave honest feedback and recommendations. The limoncello was fantastic; made in-house. Every dish our party had was delicious. We will definitely be returning!
Our server Chris was awesome and the food was very nice. The appetizers were delicious and the overall service was great.
Mt Pleasant has a REAL Italian restaurant. The food is authentic tasty and cooked to perfection. I felt like my family & I were back in Italy w great Italian food. You can taste the love that this restaurant has for their food & their customers. The service was impecable and out waiter Jim was very attentative. My family is from NY, FL,SC and we all enjoyed a taste from Italia.
Beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. Some of the best Lasagna I have ever had. They have moved into a much larger venue. Highly recommend
If you are in South Carolina and want amazing, authentic Italian food with a beautiful ambiance and 5 star service look no further than Cuoco Pazzo! From entrance to exit my experience was amazing! As soon as we were seated the warm Italian bread and fresh water was served by our waiter. It was our first time at the restaurant and our waiter was so kind and patient with us. We sat in the indoor patio area which is beautifully decorated like a cozy Italian home. It was a bit chilly because of the cool weather at night but they turned the fans off and put on the heaters for us. We ordered the “Fettuccine Alfredo” and “Pollo Alla Caprese” with a regular and strawberry lemonade. The food came out timely and fresh, it was so tasty! Our waiter also kept our glasses of water and lemonades coming. I ordered a glass of moscato and it was perfectly chilled and crisp. The check was affordable and reasonable! We took the rest of our food to go because we were soo full and our waiter even bagged our food for us. Everyone working made us feel so at home and welcomed. It was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation.Thank you!!
While visiting the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area for the first time, we went to this place based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, great friendly service and pleasant atmosphere led to a terrific evening for my husband and I.
I have been to this restaurant a number of times in the past 6 months. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We've tried many dishes including veal, chicken, pasta and a number of appetizers. In each case it was prepared perfectly and each dish was universally enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable, parking is not an issue. I would definitely recommend it as a fabulous Italian restaurant
