We had an amazing experience tonight! It's our anniversary and we typically love to dine here for it, every year. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely fantastic! Emily and Fernando were so accommodating and helpful, and it's always so nice to chat with them. Fernando was kind enough to take care of our appetizers and even included a key lime pie for us to share. Wonderful service all around!!! Kudos to Burtons!!!
great burger, delicious veggies. wonderful waitress.best coffee anywhere in town. only 1 thing off....the smell inside, smells like carpet and floors and booths have never been thoroughly cleaned, slightly pureed odor. and man that seated us asked the woman with us how many not the big guys who should have been asked as they brought us.
Omgeeee! I don’t even know where to start. For appetizers I got the wings (half & half) and the buffalo chicken dip! I ate all. I ate both appetizers before my crab cakes came. It was so flavorful. I took the crab cakes to-go and I’m just now getting to eat them. I placed the crab cakes in my air fryer because I’ve found that it reheats food, and it’s almost as if it was made fresh when I take it out. That’s beside the point though. The crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had! It’s 99.9% meat!!!! And the crispy coating is a perfect balance of goodness, texture, and flavor! I can’t wait to come back. I would like to try new dishes, but I think I’m going to get the same items I got. lol. Maybe my third time I’ll try something new. The customer service was great! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, I was acknowledged as I walked out, and during my visit my waitress was so attentive and kind. I’m so glad my students told me to try this place. Absolutely best restaurant food. My wife must be GF. They have great GF menu. Steak was as good as any I have ever had.
Burtons Grill & Bar of Mt. Pleasant on Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for delicious steaks, seafood, and much more. I really like their menu and everything that they have available here. The service here is excellent and they really take care of everything.
Burtons is in a great location and serves a varied menu. My husband and I will usually go to Burtons for a salad and burger as we can usually get in without a reservation. Service was slower than usual, but chalk that up to Sunday (April 24, 2022) as not many other restaurants are open in the area. Service was very slow that evening, we waited for 20 minutes to get our drink order (a beer and wine). The waiter asked my husband if he wanted another beer but failed to ask me if I wanted another glass of wine when my glass was empty. We had to ask twice for take home boxes, once from the manager and once from the waiter. Our waiter, Kenneth, was pleasant enough. However, when presented the bill he was very rude when I was checking the bill over, stating "the bill all automated so therefore, I did not have to check the bill". Even though it is automated, mistakes can be made. In the past, when checking other restaurant bills, the waiter may have left off an ordered item. We want to pay for what we ordered, but at the same time not pay for what we did not order. If we ever go back, we will definitely ask not to be placed in Kenneth's section if he is still employed at this restaurant.
Excellent food and service! We stopped for a quick lunch today and we’re not disappointed. Our server was very fast and met our needs. Just a little pricey for lunch but overall very good.
Really would’ve been great. But that hostess with the blonde hair…tall… so incredibly rude for no reason. Rolled her eyes at least 3 times with us, and saw her do it to another couple. Horrible attitude for such a beautiful restaurant. It would’ve been 5 stars. Food is amazing. Get a hostess that enjoys her job. It was painfully obvious that she didn’t want to be there.
We were meeting friends on our way through Charleston at Burtons. I’m GF and our friend knew this restaurant took it to a whole new level. Service was good xcellent. They have a totally separate menu that has multiple GF options including cake. Our lunch was a bit earlier then normal so I had a salad with grilled chicken. It was full of goodies and when I declined several items they offered substitutions. The salad was delicious, a half salad was large enough to be shared. The chicken was grilled to perfection. As they delivered my food they assured me no cross contamination. They should open one in my city, they would be packed.
We had a fantastic lunch! My daughter loved the chicken fingers on the kids menu. All of our meals were fantastic. Our server was also very nice. They really cared about my food allergies too.
