I love their food. 2nd time going, different location and still just as amazing. The lady at the counter was sweet and patient. The gentleman who was running back and forth, to get more ice for the store, was so kind to my child and attentive. All the employees here were so kind. I got the Boxcar and my husband got the Not-So-Waffle, both were delicious! I added a fried green tomato to mine this time, and it was even better! I tried the bacon jam from the Not-So-Waffle and it was a perfect mix of sweet & salty. Also have to add I'm not a fan of coleslaw but their Peach Coleslaw is amazing!
My wife are frequent diners at the Mount Pleasant location. The best chicken sandwich around by far. All the other items we’ve eaten have all been high quality & are outstanding. Waiting to try their smash burger!!Most of the staff are average, except for a black gentleman named Rev! I don’t know if he’s part owner, but he absolutely treats the guests like they are special. He’s completely engaged & a class act. If he’s not part owner, then the owners need to reward him for his genuine commitment. Not many at restaurants act like they care. Rev welcomes you like your special. Good Man
Wow this place was fantastic!! My fried chicken sandwich was soo yummy and the macaroons were to die for as well. The customer service was also on point, and the guy we spoke to was very helpful telling us what everything was since this was our first time here. Will definitely be back when we visit again, very impressed!
Fabulous experience. Recommend. But I do think the cole slaw on the sandwich makes it bit messy and hard to eat. And I don't understand the pimento cheese. But that's just personal taste.
The staff makes this place as much as the food! Such wonderful, kind staff and the food is sooo good. Very fresh, cooked to perfection! The fried pickles, the chicken sandwich, the extensive toppings…I can not recommend it enough.
VERY VERY VERY Disappointed that the blanched hand cut fries have been changed to a typical get anywhere frozen fry! If you must, charge an extra $1, but DEFINITELY bring the original fries back. Chicken sandwich still the best !!

A MUST TRY!!!! AMAZING FOOD! Not a huge menu, but they have perfected what they serve. Ver friendly staff. Efficient. I went during lunch rush. I waited 5 minutes for my food. They apologized for my wait and gave me a free lunch voucher.
Do not order the large fries! My wife and I ordered a grilled Boxcar Betty and a grilled Buffalo sandwiches. After eating what seemed like 1 pound chicken breasts, had hardly any room for the fries. They overloaded the fry container. The sandwiches were delicious. The staff was great. Dumped half the fries and waddled out. Will be going back!
This was one of THE BEST chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The service was over the top good. Friendly place with laughter. The manager of the place was on the floor non stop doing all the side work so his staff could be their best. Good to see.
