The staff were friendly and the restaurant was entirely clean. There are plenty of options. The sauces are very good, especially the sweet and tangy.As far as the food, it is “OK” but that is because I’ve had better barbecue at local joints.The toast was not toasted, just bread with garlic butter. They should offer cornbread instead. Baked beans were OK, just not impressed. The barbecue did not taste smoked at all. Probably won’t come back again like I said for the price the quality of the food was not that impressive. I would have given this restaurant 2 stars because of the food/price but given that the staff was friendly and the place was clean.
So we ordered pick up, 2 hot mama 6 wing combos, a peach cobbler and a famous banana pudding. The service was sweet, and the food was out fairly quickly. We heard nothing but good reviews about this place, and it was our first time eating there so we were so excited, but when we got home, our excitement quickly dropped.When we got home we noticed that our combos were missing the mac and cheese, and coleslaw sides, and the peach cobbler. We called to see if there was a way for us to go pick up the forgotten products, and the girl who answered was really sweet. She however put us on hold, to get someone who could better handle the situation. Five minutes later, it was apparent that no one was going to answer our request, so I hung up.All in all, I was just really underwhelmed with the whole experience, and honestly the Hot Mama hot sauce wasn’t even that hot.
Everyone was friendly and they seemed like they have fun here. I had the brisket it was good. My wife had the pulled pork and she said it was average. The fries are good. My only complaint would the cleaner they use. The table and floor had a sticky residue on it.

I love their food! Consistently delicious with good side options and sauces. I had some issues around a year ago with catering but it seems they have new members on their team and my most recent order was perfect! Will use them in the future as it’s one of our favs.
Fast, delicious and great menu. The Mac and cheese was just ok but the pulled pork was delicious. They have a bbq sauce bar which was great to customize your meal. Staff was incredibly friendly and polite. I didn’t enjoy having the meal served on a serving platter covered in paper. I thought the presentation negatively affected the experience of the meal. A small sandwich with a small cup of macaroni on this huge round silver platter covered in paper which was mostly empty. I wish I’d have taken a picture.
First time eating here, really good food. Honestly the sauce was not my favorite or anything but the meat did jot need sauce. When I ordered Informed the cashier I needed a min since it was my first time and she walked around the counter and went over then menu and options with me. Also worth mention, the rest rooms were spotless and clean!
Make sure you get the ribs! They are cooked & seasoned for perfection. The meat falls on the bone. You really don't need bbq sauce but they have a decent selection of them. The ribs are so good that I haven't tried the other meats. If the side of the day is hash & rice, definitely order it, as it is very good also.
We eat at Willie Jewell’s EVERY time we want to satisfy our BBQ cravings! Their staff is extremely friendly and always make us feel welcomed and appreciated. You get great portions for your money and the food is terrific! We love the fact that they allow you to choose the bbq sauce of your liking, it’s a definite plus. They have a side bar with 4 different flavors to choose from. I promise, you will not regret choosing Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q next time you want some great bbq! But, I will warn you, it may just become your next addiction! : P
Food is awesome BUT over the last few months if you order a 2 or 3 meat platter you do NOT get nearly as much meat(s) as they use to give. This has been the same the last 2 times we have ordered. Prices have gone up as other places have. Not worth the price for what you get anymore.
