1st timer, heard all the derogatory stories about the chain. Had the waffle egg bacon plate. Loved it.Trainee was nice & attentive. Will go back soon.
Day shift is always fast,friendly and make you feel welcomed even remember your face next time. Day shift manager has her crew together.
Quick meal with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Had a piece of grilled chicken, cooked to perfection.
My Fiancé took me and our son out to breakfast Sunday , and let me tell you if was amazing !! Great food , fast service and a friendly waitress , we visited a different location prior to dining in at charter oak and it was terrible , this is our go to location from now on . We love it !
Usually this location does a good job. Tonight, we walked in, half of the restaurant was blocked off. The half that was available was dirty. Staff was not welcoming and and appeared to have a bad attitude. Someone eventually wiped off a table. I had to let them know that something was spilled on the floor. I do usually come during the day. The atmosphere is definitely different at night.
Bacon was great. Thick with good flavor. Good breakfast.
Young girl; seem to be friendly but got some nasty ways. I ask her was she ready to take my order she had the nerve to she can be, they need to teach her how to greet her customers. Then she running and sliding. Very unprofessional to do in front off customers. And to top it off my order wasn't even done right smh ?.
My granddaughter suggested we go to the Charter Oak WH for breakfast so we did. Our orders arrived. I asked our server to reheat my grits in the microwave. He actually inquired why. I indicated they were not hot. He asked if I was sure. I assured him they were only mildly warm. He indicated that they did not have a microwave. That issue went unresolved. We ate, paid and left.That was over a year ago. My granddaughter and I have breakfast almost every Saturday morning…but not again at Waffle House. There are too many other Lexington breakfast spots and I’m willing to bet almost all have a microwave.

A young waitress is often working by herself taking all orders at this location by herself most of the time and does a excellent job. Management needs to get her help.
