Whenever I'm in a pinch and want quality Cuban, I stop by. I always order online and it's always on time.I did try their chicken sandwich once and I wasn't much of a fan but their Cuban-inspired rice bowls are ????I've never been disappointed and encourage everyone to try.My only drawback is they've removed the plantains and number of bread from the bowl option while slightly increasing the price... Not a fan of that.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something with all of the very positive reviews. I came for lunch and tried the deluxe classic bowl and a side of yucca fries. I appreciated the unusual menu options, but I just didn't think the food quality was very good for the high prices (for fast food). A bowl with a side and a drink was over $15.The deluxe classic bowl was just grilled chicken, rice, tomatoes, and iceberg lettuce and was very underhelming for nearly $10. The rice had no flavor and was a mushy blob. The chicken was not properly seasoned and was a bit dry. For the price, I would expect more vegetables or something else to add flavor. I had to drown the bowl in sauce to give it some flavor, but unlike most others, I didn't find the sauces particularly good or flavorful. On the upside, there was a good amount of chicken in the bowl.The yucca fries were pretty good, but they were a bit more dense than typical yucca and the portion was small for the price.The service was polite but relatively slow.I'll probably pass on this place in the future.
I got a chicken cesar wrap and was so excited and then got it and was disappointed. wrap got so soggy less than 3 minutes and fell apart in my hands. chicken is dry and has no flavor.
Pleasantly surprised. Tropical Grille is a new to me, local chain that my family tried because of a coupon. The space looked new and was clean with a menu that had your standard staples as well as some 'tropical' type dishes.I went for the Cubano which came out hot. It was a little more bland than I'm used to, but that isn't all bad as sometimes cuban sandwiches have too much horseradish which kills it for me. Instead Tropical Grills has some excellent signature sauces you can use. I used a combination of the Sweet Mustard Curry and a little Jalapeno Garlic. The Jalapeno Garlic was pretty hot but really added to the sandwich.They had a Garlic Cilantro sauce that also tasted excellent, but it just wasn't what I wanted on a sandwich that day.Overall, my family and I will be going back and trying other dishes soon.
My family & I have been to this Tropical Grille & loved the food so much! The staff was great & the restaurant was spotless.I also used Tropical Grille in Lexington to cater my son & daughter-in-law's wedding shower last November. They did a phenomenal job!Talk about hitting it out of the park! We have two professional chefs that attended & both LOVED the food & were very impressed. Well done Tropical Grille!

We decided to grab some lunch there and did a call in order for take out. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Their online menu was very detailed and explained everything that they offered. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and healthy choices that will appeal to everyone.Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. I’m positive that we will be back in near future and will recommend them for friends and family members who want a great experience.
We always have great food and remarkable service from Tropical Grille! One of our delivery orders was incorrect when we received it...the manager apologized profusely and even went as far as bringing us our entire order fresh and included some dessert. We order at least once a week and will definitely continue to do so. Also very impressed with how community centered the owner seems to be. Keep up the great work. You all are appreciated!!

Tropical Grille’s name had been bouncing around time before I even went. If I’m being honest, it was the owner, Kenny Gamble, who made me walk through the door. This business is run by a truly kind and amazing person. I’m constantly impressed for his positivity towards his employees, his customers and the community. The food is AMAZING. We love the Chicken Fresco bowls. Even my picky 2 and 5 year old LOVE it. And don’t get me started on the sauces. Try them all! I HIGHLY recommend Tropical Grille.
We love this place! Love the Christian vibe to this restaurant and the always friendly employees. Kenny, the owner, does a lot of good things for the community which makes this restaurant even better!One suggestion would be to have a weekly kids night. Thursday maybe? Don't have many restaurants with free kids night on Thursdays.Thanks for all you do!
