I have never written a Poor review for any establishment, but this one is very deserving. Will start with cashier who takes orders and who was busy chatting with friends in dining area while we waited at cash register to place our order. When friends left, she walked up to the cash register and stood there without asking if she could help us. Finally, I asked if she was person to take our order, and she simply nodded. There was a sign by cash register stating that you would receive 4% discount if you paid cash. I paid cash and received a receipt with no stated discount. I later compared menu prices with receipt which indicated I received about a 2% discount. I ordered a smoked brisket sandwich with red sauce and side of coleslaw. The brisket had no smoked flavor, very little sauce on sandwich, and the coleslaw had little taste. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with red sauce and side of coleslaw, as well as a cup of water. The pork had very little sauce on it and had little flavor, as did the coleslaw. She was charged $1.00 for a small cup of water. I love barbecue, but this is certainly not a top rate barbecue place. A lot of good reviews - maybe we hit it on a bad day.
Absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to go back. I can’t believe this is a restaurant in a gas station. There was a smoker grill outside that smelled amazing. Husband and I both ordered the Carolina Turkey Bacon Melt (smoked turkey, smoked bacon and pimento cheese with grilled onions). Smoked turkey was excellent. Really great blend of flavors on the sandwich Fries were crisp with a little bit of seasoning salt. I’m ready to try everything else on the menu.

10 out of 10. Delicious bbq. We loved everything. It was authentic South Carolina food. The collards were to die for and the mac and cheese was right off a southern grandma's kitchen table.

This is THE spot right here. Was on my way to Atlanta from Charleston and found this gem. The owner Chris is a great guy that can cook it up with the best of them. I had to get their BBQ with collards and potato salad. It was all terrific. They had a special for jalapeño chicken egg rolls that I ordered for the ride back. Also bought a pint of his smoked chicken salad. Those egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop by to see Chris and eat his delicious food.
I've heard a lot of great things about this place and finally decided to try it out. It certainly did not disappoint. I was served by Chris and he was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and the bacon was some of the best I have ever had. I will definitely be back.
Man Roy's grille is the best!!!!!! Absolutely love the food here and that I can trust who cooks the food I highly recommend trying his food!!!!! I'm always sending people I know/ conversate with to go get his food. My Absolute favorite is his blackened chicken nachos on a bed of fries!!!!!!! Also love getting his fried chicken.
First visit today and it was delicious. Had the brisket sandwich and my wife had the pimento cheeseburger and both were great. Will definitely return.
Fast & friendly customer service. The food was delicious! Everything was seasoned to perfection, and that's coming from someone who lost their taste because of covid. I could taste everything in this and it was one of the best takeout breakfast I have had in a while.
