Finally found an authentic NY style pizzeria! I'm from NY and haven't found anything as authentic here in SC as I did at Nicky's tonight. The Stromboli was different (used to it being closed up) but it was sooo delicious. The mussels were perfectly cooked and the sauce wasn't acidic... on point! The calamari was prefectly fried with just flour and without the breading that mostly all the other places use. Next, I will try the pizza because from seeing the other tables order pizza they looked like real NY pizza.
We’ve lived in the area for quite some time and had never made it down to Nicky’s Pizzeria on Main St. I’m from Upstate NY so always looking for good pizza. Arrived on a Friday night. There was a short wait for a table but a gentleman at the counter was very friendly and seated us as soon as he could. Casual atmosphere . Waitress was very efficient and pleasant. We ordered some garlic rolls and a cheese pizza. Rolls were excellent and the pizza was excellent. It reminded me of the pies in NY. By the time we were leaving there was a substantial wait- always a good sign. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely delicious REAL authentic Italian. My server was very sweet and helpful along with the guy at the register. Everyone was welcoming and this will be my new spot!
This is a fantastic, small restaurant! The staff was super nice and helpful and the food was definitely one of the best for a pizza restaurant locally. The pizza and cheesy bread is awesome, but the garlic knots are lacking in flavor. Other then the garlic knots, I highly recommend this restaurant and the food here!!!
The food here is tasty. You have the option of indoor or outdoor dining. Also seem to do a lot of to go orders. They make a good pie but I recommend ordering a whole pie and skip "The NY Slice". They cut their 16" into 8 slices and for the price I would feel a lot better if they served it cut into 6. Or maybe move up to an 18" or 20" inch pie cut into 8. Besides that the beer is cold and the food is good.....Just saw your reply. Next time I come in I'm going to order a slice and compare it to the one I got the first time. Maybe I was served from a 16 by accident.
We stopped by our favorite pizza place to enjoy the perfect SC weather on their patio. Cold Yuengling drafts and garlic knots to start. Instead of pizza this stop, we split a Caesar salad and a meatball sub. Definitely one of my must-have sandwiches here. The Italian sub is also excellent. Haley provided great service!
I'm not sure if I've giving them a review but this the best pizza in Lexington if you love pizza. It doesn't get any better if you know what real pizza taste like. Their subs are the bomb to.
Excellent food, both pizzas and subs are excellent. Employees were nice, polite, and helpful! This is a very family friendly restaurant with great connections to the community.

Came to see what the hype was all about and I can now join to fan club. Bought a white sauce Margherita pizza for me, my wife and my 2 year old. It was gone by the night. We had tummy aches becuase it was so damn good we couldn't stop. Looking forward to trying more pizzas. 10/10 pizza!
