I arrived an hour after opening. The place was quiet at this time. I used the bathroom, like I said it was pretty quiet. The bathroom was disturbingly gross considering there was no one there. ?? Does this mean they don't bother to clean it the night before? Is the kitchen the same way? ? It may be a while before I come to eat in this establishment again! I thought about taking a picture but I didn't want to gross anyone else out. ??
I didn't know if I'd find any vegan options in Lexington, especially since I was with three other non-vegans. But, Mellow Mushroom delivered! They have vegan cheese, and they are super accommodating to let you know what you can have. The pizza crust and sauce were also delicious, making this vegan puzza option one of my top vavorites to date.
If I could leave zero stars I would. An employee named Jessica was acting COMPLETELY unprofessional tonight. I had to grab my kids and leave I was terrified. She began screaming at another employee completely unprovoked and using foul language. I have never in my 32 years of life seen anything like this. I am never going back and will be contacting corporate. If you see this employee please keep your distance she is seriously dangerous.
The food came out quickly and was exactly as we ordered. Our server Madison was the best! She was very attentive. The manager also visited our table and helped box up our leftovers. We will be returning!
Great food!(try the Holy Shitake Pie). Servers are always friendly. Some times there is a short wait, but each pizza is made to order, so you expect that.
I went here on my lunch break I ordered a burger and Tater tots, everything was fine until about middle of the burger it was very very pink, I squeezed it out and blood ran on my plate. I could not finish I was so nauseated. I paid for it and walked out. Looking back I really wished I would’ve said something but I didn’t. PLEASE make sure your food is cooked before you serve it!
MM is our fave for pizza, calzones and salads. My 5 year old only eats Mellow pizza! We go weekly and always ask and wait for Jeremy’s section. He is amazing. He knows his routine customers and remembers their faves. He is friendly, funny and very attentive. All staff is awesome. We go for amazing food and service. It’s as good as it gets.
Great experience. I ordered a pizza to go. They let me pay when I got there. I even got a to go drink on the house.The Backyard BBQ pizza is amazing!
Mellow Mushroom offers so much to Lexington. The ambiance is so creative and different and adds contrast to most of the other restaurants in Lexington, SC. The amount of food offered at Mellow Mushroom makes it hard to pick, but my personal favorite is the MYO burger which is the best-looking and tasting burger around. Personally, to anyone new or visiting Lexington I definitely recommend dining here.
We came here before and decided to come back. First visit was good. Everything was great. This time was horrible. We sat down and ordered our drinks. She then took our order. Everything was great. We got our first pizza. Now be it there was 5 people w us. We ordered 2 medium pizzas. We halved the pizzas with 2 different ones. So we got one of our pizzas basically for the 2 people. The other one was for the rest of the people. So we waited , and er waited , and we waited. So 20 min later eaitress comes back and says should be out shortly. So again we waited and waited. Nothing. The 2 people were do e with thier pizza. The waitress comes back and says was a mistake in the kitchen and they forgot to make our pizza. Well would have canceled it but see the rest of the people hadn't eaten yet. So we waited and waited again. Now about 40 min after reviewing the first pizza we felt the next one. Tbh the pizza that time was not the greatest. So idk if I w be going back.
