Food is usually decent and the few staff members they do have are always hardworking and polite. Unfortunately they're understaffed on the night shift and it shows. They'll be closed at complete random without updating the site. And when they are open the line can range from 10 to sometimes 30 minutes, and you can't back out of it if the wait is too long.
Sometimes their are people waiting to take your order other times their is no one even at the counter taking orders for the people in the dining area, I know the drive thru stays kinda busy but normally their Is a long wait also on food so the place is good but they need more workers or workers who are trained better I believe not sure if it is not enough workers or not. The place is good other than that, but everyone and than be ready to wait a little for someone to take your order or to get your food.
Got to this McDonald's at 8:43 am on 4/23/22 And I was 6th car in line. I got up at window at 9:12 am. Then waited 4 more minutes to get a bacon egg biscut and apple pie. Going down road happy to bite into apple pie ... COLD AS ICE .... Not Happy. After waiting all that time, then to top it off ice cold snack .... negative -10 rating. No one said HI... etc. Nothing just cold attitude.
It was late, it was the weekend, it was short staffed, long lines inside and out. I was greeted nicely and was asked if I could give a few more moments to the associate when my turn came. I gladly granted that time. My order was taken with a pleasant smile by this young African American gentleman who was busy but professionally polite. My food was fresh, and it was just a pleasant experience. Thank you to all the hard working people there, I appreciate you!
Food was decent. Not my regular McDonalds, but still quick and warm.
The counter person was beyond rude, it was obvious she didn't want to be there & everyone who was there was at fault for her having to work.Food took forever to come out, but I did make a custom order. I started to eat my Big Mac & it was dry, both the bun & the meat & I couldn't even finish it, which turned out to be a blessing, because a short while later, I was on the side of I20 re-enacting that scene from The Exorcist, only it was Big Mac & not pea soup!
Drive-thru line was long but moved very swiftly and order so far as always been right. They got their act together.
Worst McDonald's in South Carolina. Burgers were greasey and pink. Fries were cold.
