This place was absolutely Fantastic! The service is next level, and the food is great. It’s nice to have a good sushi spot in Lexington, because we sure needed it. The Bento box is massive and comes with great veggies and will have you looking for a nap. Highly recommend if you’re around Lexington!
I've been wanting to try this place since I heard it had opened. The food was good. Portions were huge, I admittedly wasn't ready for that. My husband didn't particularly like his sesame chicken bowl, said it was too much sesame, kind of choked the flavor of the other stuff. I had a shrimp, chicken, and steak bowl. I loved it. It was extremely filling, though. My son had ordered a shrimp bento. They made a mistake at first and brought him a steak bento, but immediately changed it when the mistake was pointed out. So, the staff and accommodations were great. I definitely recommend those that like Asian (Japanese) cuisines to try it out. I hope to go back so I can try their desserts in the future.
Honest review:Service was good, food was better, plenty of room for us and they didn’t rush our large group.As you can see from the pictures we had enough for sure.Only flaw I saw was that the bathroom needed a little attention.If you like honest reviews, hit the like and or follow button.Have a great day!!!
We enjoyed this restaurant alot ! The sushi was excellent and the bowls we had were also very good and huge portions. The food and sushi came out very quickly and the service was excellent ! Our waiter was a very sweet lady and took great care of us. Will definitely be back to try out more sushi rolls
I cannot say enough good things about thos place. The staff is the most attentative I've ever dealt with. They are not pushy but they do pay attention to your needs. Staff remembers you and your favorites. I've eaten here 1-2 times a week for the last month and a half and tell everyone that this is the spot for quality sushi bowls,desserts
I’m a little biased on these restaurants. They belong to my buddy. However, you will not be disappointed with their fresh sushi and rice bowls. Enjoy
My family and I had dinner together here last night the sushi was delicous. The appetizers were great as well. We ordered rice bowls also which was delicious I'd recommend trying one! Definitely will be returning!
We’ve been wanting to try Konnichiwa since they opened. Every time I get stuck in traffic at that intersection I can’t help but notice how amazing their food smells. We finally stopped in last night. It’s a nicely decorated casual restaurant. Our server Wayan was amazing. The food came out incredibly fast and my husband loved how your order goes into the handhelds they all carry and they confirm everything with you when you order and also once more when you pay. The Gyoza was fried to perfection, the ginger dressing on the salad was sweet and creamy, and our daughter’s chicken bowl was enormous and she said it tasted amazing.My husband and I got sushi. He got his normal California rolls and also the Tempura California roll which we all shared. I got the Lake Murray roll (pictured) which was almost too pretty to eat. The presentation of everything was absolutely stunning, especially considering this is a more casual dining style. And even more importantly, all the sushi tasted fresh and amazing.Very glad we finally made it in and we will absolutely be back again and again.
Came in on a Friday evening and was impressed from the moment I walked in. Greeted and seated immediately. I wish I would of caught our waitress’s name because she was such a joy to have! Food and atmosphere was amazing! Will be back for sure! You guys are doing great!!!
I dined here this past Saturday and the food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was clean and was “family friendly”. Our waitress, although nice, wasn’t very attentive and forgot to put an order in. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars! The wings, both regular and spicy were fried to perfection. A must try!
