Always delicious never disappointed!! The staff is always friendly. I had the beef tips and brussel sprouts. The beef tips were tender and flavorful. I absolutely love their brussel sprouts. We have the Palmetto cheese dip for the appetizer. One of the best Palmetto cheese dips I have ever tasted. The salted caramel cheesecake was delicious also. My daughter had the strip steak and bacon Mac. Everything was delicious!
Very casual place. We were seated quickly, and our server greeted us promptly. Beverages were served and refilled as needed. She recommended the warmed pimento cheese appetizer and it was good and a generous portion to share. My husband got the Ceasar salad and he enjoyed it. Then it all went downhill. The prime rib special was a fair price. But ordered medium and it came blood red. The baked potato was barely warm, the butter did not even melt. the sour cream had an unexpected horseradish flavor to it. The prime rib had an overwhelming smokey flavor that was not enjoyable. My Salmon was over cooked and overly salted, My sweet potato was to come with cinnamon butter. The plain butter , not cinnamon, on it did not melt because the sweet potato was also barely warm. We brought this to our servers attention. we declined at this point in our meal to have anything replaced. Then there was a fee on the check for using a credit card, a hospitality fee and of course, sales tax. Add on a tip since it was not the servers fault, made for a costly disappointing evening out. We will not be back.
It was our first visit here, and we were looking for a romantic upscale restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Judging by the name and online presence, we thought this would be a great place. The food was good to be sure, but the ambiance was far from ideal. A large open space and sports on TV greatly lowers this experience to that of an oversized pub with so so drinks. Given the prices, we were shocked at the number of families that bring their children, and crying babies do not enhance the board of fare. Go here if an expensive hamburger is to your liking and sports is your thing.
This place was one big disappointment for multiple reasons. First the atmosphere didn’t match my expectations. I expected something classier instead of a place that seems to suffer from an identity crisis with big sports bar vibes, country music ? and tv’s everywhere. We ordered calamari. The portion was small and it was not good. It was greasy & crumbly and the tentacles were fried away to nothing. We also ordered the brisket bites described as “ caramelized meat candy”. We we got was FIVE bite sized pieces of dry chewy meat not even remotely caramelized for the ridiculous price of $14. We did not enjoy the tomato sauce smear either - no one at the table did. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye ($32) blue/very rare with the bacon Mac & cheese. I sent the steak back as it was way overcooked as visible by the picture. By the time the replacement came out everyone was finished eating. The replacement was still overcooked. I felt the steak was under seasoned as well. The Mac & cheese was truly awful. A bowl of mushy far overcooked pasta that had zero texture. No need to even chew the 2 bites I had. For the price I would have expected another side or perhaps at least bread. There was also a dog in the restaurant which wasn’t a service dog I’m certain and while the dogs presence didn’t bother me I’m doubtful it’s entry was questioned by the staff. Under law they are able to ask what job the dog performs. This was my Mothers Day meal and instead of something memorable it was a solid disinclination.
Went here to celebrate a graduation. Our bill was $220. It was easily one of the worst meals I have ever paid for. Steak was over-cooked by double. Calamari was so fishy we didn’t eat it. Brisket was more fat than meat. My avocado was rubbery...how does that happen? I had to use a knife to cut it! The absolute kicker was all the flies. The flies were ALL OVER US and our food. Disgusting. What an embarrassment. I apologized to the people we brought with us.
For a family of four we ordered ribeye steaks the meat was very poor quality no taste and very tough, the total bill was over $150 and we had water to drink, no bread or salad was served with the meal, if you’re looking for a good steak avoid this restaurant. I normally never write reviews but this is the worst steak I have ever eaten at a restaurant, I don’t mind paying the price for good quality food.
Great prices, delicious steaks, appetizers, a good craft beer selection, and good wine. Very wheelchair accessible and always friendly service. We've been going there since they opened and have almost always had perfect meals each time. Only one time, the steak wasn't cooked to medium and we had to get it cooked a bit more.
All in all a good place to eat! I blame myself for not reading the menu thoroughly! Ordered the Candied Burnt end’s appetizer, I expected to get something in the hint of sweet nature! Their is smothered in their Smokey tomato bbq sauce, not bad but just not what I expected! But again I didn’t read the menu! I ordered the Prime Brisket which did not have a description on the menu.., it came smothered in the same smoky tomato sauce!! Not my favorite thing! Brisket was well smoked and tender! Service was great and the atmosphere is great! Just pay attention to the menu! Definitely recommend this place!
We've been here 4 or 5 times as a couple, as a group and once by myself for lunch. We've always had a great experience, both with food and with service.
The food was delicious!! The sweet barbecue sauce on the wings was the best choice for us. We had the tomahawk steak for 2 with brussel sprouts, fresh green beans and mac and cheese. Absolutely no complaints about the food or the service. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to try a Chophouse restaurant.
