Stopped in on my way to Greenwood just based on outside appearance. I'm glad I took the chance as the food was delicious.
Absolutely love this place! My husband and i are regulars on the weekend for dinner. The best tenders by far! Just wish consistency was followed on tender size and breading, it depends on who the cook is. Great sweet potatoes fries, rings, okra. Love the Buffalo Chicken wrap. My hubby loves the Fish and Chips which is Swai. Most of the servers are great, we have our favorites.
VERY hot inside. Food was ok. Appetizers were great. The shrimp in the roll was obviously frozen. The philly chicken sandwich had a burned taste. Waitress was good. We were all sweating. Must have been 80+ degrees inside.
Didn't have enough seating for my family of 6 to sit together. Appetizers weren't good. All our food came out at different times.Felt rushed just received our food and waitress brought out the bill and asked if we needed to go boxes. Food had no flavoring no one finished their meal. Will not be going back there again
Called to see about specials and we were told about the blue plate special which she said it's a meat and sides and it's over at 2pm.We arrived before 2 and were told the kitchen is done serving that special so that means the special is just sitting there and they are not making it fresh.First time visiting and waitress was very rude about it. If they mention this special to someone they need to tell them they stop serving before 2 and it's a specific meat of the day.Food was decent as it was very fresh and had plenty of flavor.
My neighbor and I went a couple of weeks ago. Sign at the door “seat yourself”. We sat for about 20 minutes. Nobody ever came to get drink orders. There were several vacant tables but had not been cleared off yet. There was a puddle of water on the floor. We got up and left without anyone knowing we were there. Won’t go back
Terrible experience.My stepson and I were sat immediately when we arrived, but we sat at the table for 20 minutes with no one acknowledging us, even though we were right by the kitchen entrance and drink station. They didn't seem overly busy, just very disorganized.A young man from the cooking staff dropped off an appetizer to our table when we hadn't even seen a server. A server who turned out to be ours grabbed it without speaking and took it to the correct table. She made her rounds to the other tables and then finally stopped by and asked what drinks we wanted. She spun to leave and I asked if we could get an appetizer. She took that order and sped off.The service continued to be slow and we were neglected for the duration. Food runners brought our food and refills once after I stopped someone. The food was OK; I had a fish entree that didn't mention on the menus what type and neither did the server know. My stepson had the Ringer which he did enjoy. I can get mediocre food anywhere and can fry frozen breaded fish at home with more flavor. An hour later my stomach was tore up and this was the only thing I'd eaten since lunch. I'm not saying it was the fish, but could have been a case of careless cross contamination. In short, there is nothing that can convince me to return, not even for take-out.
The service was great. Our server was very attentive and nice. My boyfriend enjoyed the salmon, and I enjoyed the side salad and rice pilaf that I got. Despite this, I would not get the grilled chicken again. I ended up getting salmonella from it. I have never had an issue there before. This was my first time getting grilled chicken from there. That is one thing that I would not get again due to this experience.
The food was very good, our server was outstanding and knowledgeable about all the food which is very helpful to new folks. Restaurant dinning in this country has become so bad that choices are limited. Americans are will to settle and pay for sub par food. Goodfellas was a great surprise in cassual dinning. We will be going back.
So disappointed. Food took over an hour and was cold. Only parts of our order came out 20 minutes at a time. Everyone has an upset stomach after eating. The waitress was apologetic and the staff seemed so nice, but this did not make up for the terrible food and awful wait.
