This restaurant is wall entertainment that just happens to serve food. I sampled four items and two were fine, two were disappointing. First, I was assured that the frozen fries were “really good” when they were in fact awful: no potato flavor, bizarre internal texture. Second, with my burger steak I ordered collard greens and Mac and cheese. I don’t recall the last time I’ve seen a pool of oil at the base of the latter. Also, the beer selection is phoned in and mediocre. This is just glitz, wouldn’t return.
went to this place tuesday afternoon after finding out about it on a site called only in your state. the place was busy but only had a short wait for a table & this was around lunch time. the entire staff was absolutely amazing as was the food that we ordered. waitress checked back in with us several times as well as the manager. its overall a fantastic place i will be going back as well as recommending it to everyone i know.
I got take out. I called in my order. The person was friendly and I had no trouble ordering. When I picked up my food it was ready and everything was piping hot even when I got back to my hotel room. It looked really cute inside and I would love to dine in next time.I got a blue plate lunch with country fried steak, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. It came with 2 little corn muffins. I also got the chorisitos and a slice of lemon raspberry cheesecake. The blue plate was very tasty. Definitely peppery (maybe too much pepper personally, but that's just a personal choice). I really enjoyed the chorisitos but I would say the meat tasted a little more like cheese steak than sausage. But still VERY good. I didnt love the lemon raspberry cheese cake. But that's because I was expecting just cheese cake. It had a thin layer of cheesecake on top of lemon cake and had a Graham cracker crust. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting or craving. All in all I thought it was a great experience, I would love to eat here again and dine in next time. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
The menu was difficult to understand at first, but once their amazing staff cleared it up, it began to make sense. The sandwiches were incredibly delicious. The onion rings might have been the best I've ever had.The items to avoid is definitely the mac and cheese and the rice, both were below stellar.
Amazing place!! We stopped by on our way to lake! Dog friendly, great food and staff was awesome!! Highly recommend ❤️?⬛? We would recommend this to everyone in the Lexington area. Hubby had country fried steak, cut it with a fork!!! Go see this place!!
I usually don’t leave reviews but last nights experience is worth the time. My friend and I went around 7:15 for dinner. It was very busy and the hostess was working hard to get everyone seated. After about a 15-20 min wait we got seated. It took about 5-7 minutes for our waitress to come speak to us. She got our drink order then about 10 min later came back to get our food and noticed that we still haven’t gotten our drinks. It took WELL over 30 min for our food to come out. We had to get to stores before they closed so we asked for our check with our food in to go boxes. Then about 20 more minutes go by and the owner brings our food out and thanks us for our “consideration” for having to wait for so long. The owner was very nice however he needs to consider the amount of guests that his staff can keep up with. Also maybe don’t put a new server on the floor on a busy Friday night. And to top it all off my gyro was made with shredded chicken instead of the sliced gyro beef that it’s supposed to have.
Atmosphere was phenomenal. We were seated fast during a busy time of the night; it would have a 5 star experience had the food been better. I'm a meatloaf kind of guy and I was excited to find it under their "blue plate specials" on the menu served with brown gravy. However, it was tough and very dry and there wasn't enough gravy for me to even get it down. The sides were good, though and I got a cookie to go that was a saving grace.
I have been a frequent customer at the Flight Deck Restaurant for many years now, and the people there have never disappointed me. The owner, Ted, puts a strong emphasis on customer service and it clearly shows amongst his staff. The greeting at the door is always prompt, the service is super-friendly, and there is nothing these people won't do to make sure you are leaving a happy customer. In addition to the service, a note should be made about the food as well: the blue plate special is honestly about the same as the cost of most fast food meals nowadays, but it is an actual meal... the food is home cookin', and the portions are always very generous.Seriously: the good people at the Flight Deck Restaurant made me into a repeat customer and they will make you into one as well if you give them a shot.
ordered over 37.00 of food to go on March 15- hamburger steak meal and roast beef meal. Within 2 hours of eating, my son and I started feeling bad. By the next morning- we both had severe diarrhea. This is the only food that we had eaten all day. I don't know if meat was bad or it was left sitting out too long. What has happened to Flight Deck??? We will not be going back. Waste of my hard earned money
And and 2ic heard about this place. So we decided to go for lunch. We really didn't know what to expect.. the decor was different. It had planes and old photos of war beterans( pilots) it was really nice. They had a decent menu. I was very intrigued when I saw fried green beans. The one thing I would say was bad was the Arnold palmer was watery. It had a lot of ice in it. But the food was actually good. I say actually because didnt know what to expect. The server was nice. And the food was brought to us in a decent manner. They had a great selection of desserts. Cookies and cheese cakes. The food was great. And to top it off. The owner or the supervisor( mr ted) came around to the tables introducing himself. It was nice especially in time of pandemic. Having interaction with the customers making sure everything was ok. I will definitely be returning here. And we didn't even get to make it to the arcade. Overall I definently reccomend going to to the flight deck.
