We had lunch today food was good and came out correct and hot. Service today is what pushed this review from being four to being a five star. I would say that is one of the big reasons they are always busy and the parking lot is full.
Food was great but the service was average. They have tons of items on the menu which is awesome but can also cause some confusion for someone like me that has decidophobia.
I loved the margarita flights! You get 4 small margaritas to taste. They were so good! Staff was right there replenishing chips, salsa, and water and provided good service.
This gem of a restaurant is absolutely delicious. The food is fresh and full of flavour. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were addictive. So good!It is minutes from the charming downtown core of Lexington. Definitely a must try when in town.I only wished they had more plant-based options, but everyone absolutely loved their meals and I enjoyed what I could eat.

Servers are great! Food is delicious but the kitchen staff is understaffed so the wait time is typically 1 hr or more for the food. It's my 3rd time there and each time I've had to wait more than an hour for my food to arrive and each time the servers are apologetic. No fault of their own really. There is a salsa bar to keep you busy and plenty of drinks.
Our family went to El Jimador. This restaurant has excellent décor. They also have a salsa bar which was pretty neat they have. The salsa at the salsa bar to me mostly tastes the same not too much difference. The service was excellent accept when our meal came out and the other half of our party meal didn't so we waited until there meal came out which was about 15 minutes later. We had the fajitas, The fajitas we're ok a little bit dry but the side items were very small. They didn't have shredded cheese with the side items we asked about it and they said that they do not serve that with our meal which to me is a first with Fajitas There was hardly any guacamole and no sour cream. We also had two other items with our party The Pollo Granda. It was not bad but not that much taste to it. Finally we had the Burritos Verck. It was ok not too much in the burrito it was more like and enchilada . Overall I would give this place and excellent rating for decor and a fair rating for the food and a good rating for the service.
Great place. Has it's own vibe. The food is really good, just make sure you going during busy times.My son is 3 and loves to flirt with the older baristas who are so friendly and helpful. My daughter is 9 and always has the small cheese dip covered from her allowance. Sooo good too.My wife says ohhhh...that shrimp taco bowl? Hell yeah bish. Lol. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful restaurant with plenty of seating. Staff is professional and courteous and helpful with quick service. Restaurant is clean throughout. Vast menu with something for everyone. My dish is hot and absolutely delicious! I love it all. Lunch menu is very reasonable. I can't wait till my next visit to see what I order. Great job, folks! I very much appreciate your hard work!
Food was good as usual, service of the food was a little off tonight. Our table of 4 got our food at 3 different times, they apologized and said there was a mess up. We will definitely go back!
