Just got food from here ONLY because any other Chinese restaurant is closed on Tuesday… super disappointed in myself for not just waiting one more day to get my Chinese fix! The sesame chicken had no flavor. Tasted like deep fried chicken with brown sauce over it. The rice was disgusting.. and the crab Rangoons were completely cooked out dry. Nothing whatsoever inside any of them… I’ve had this place about a year ago. With the same results, and was willing to give them another shot, and now I’m mad at myself for doing so. Will not be returning. And I’ve learned my lesson to just wait til Wednesday when the weather good Chinese restaurants are back open! Wasted 40 bucks ?‍♂️

I haven’t been to Chen’s in a year. Now there is a new management and the food taste very different now. I ordered the black and pepper chicken with lo mein and my grandma ordered egg foo yong and egg rolls . I ordered this around 8pm and the next morning I was getting ready for school I notice I had a horrible cramp , feeling sick to the stomach and very nauseous I couldn’t eat all day my grandma also had the same symptoms and we order 2 different things . I will never go here again I have no idea what they are putting in there food .

Do not order over the phone. They will get every single part of the order wrong. And they don’t do delivery. The food is awful. No flavor, it tastes like they use cheap grease, and it’s cold.

They close at 9:30... we placed a to go order at 9:13pm on Tuesday 12/21. We were finishing up seeing Christmas lights nearby and were in the car on the way there. The girl that took our order gave me a total and told me it would be ready soon. I told her we were on the way. She called me back 3 minutes later to confirm which orange chicken we wanted to order. We pulled up at 9:26.... lights totally off... not an employee in sight... doors locked. Not even 9 minutes after the girl took our order they had vanished. It was as if they had to of run out of there to avoid us simply because whoever was in the kitchen didn't want to stay open any longer. I called back the same number that I had received their call on 3 times and it rang and rang until I got their voicemail all 3 times. They literally took our order, gave us a total and pick up time and then ran out of there without notifying us that they were unable to fulfill our order.

The food is pretty good no complaints here.. I always get the shrimp fried rice and my husband loves the beef and broccoli.

My family and I have ordered from this restaurant 100's of times in the past and about 4 times since the new owners. Well, the fried rice was cold. That and the rest of the food had no taste..... Very bland. The entire takeout was a strike out. Sadly, we won't be back.

The ownership change has messed this entire place up. Used to be the best in the Lexington region, now it's the worst by far. Food taste bland, burnt and raw. Last time I went, they messed up my order, never had that happened under previous ownership. China King is our go-to place now.

Well...this was the best place for year's...prices went up 33%...portions down...and the flavor has gone to saw dust..you are better off at the Asian Buffet.

Don't waste your money. I ordered three tofu dishes and was given one tofu dish and two chicken dishes.
