The last three times I have tried to eat there, the dining room has been closed. I remember the food usually being pretty good, but I will not eat cold fish (have to take it home). And eating a fish meal with sides is difficult in the car. So, I choose not to go there. If you set out to go, call first to make sure it is open... If it is, go for some good food at a reasonable price On one visit, even the drive-thru was closed "due to a staffing shortage." On the survey below, I had to choose "Not Sure" a few times because you can't get in to the dining room to rate the seating or mask wearing....
When I entered in Captain d the first time I was shy but afterward having speaking to the people they were very very pleasant very professional and very kind my husband and I enjoyed ourselves the food was so delicious and I love fish so that was my thing and my husband he love the gumbo so we will be back as soon as we get more funds continue on the great work and the profession and see you soon God bless!!!
I hadn't been to Captain D's in quite a while and I got a three-piece fish dinner and I have to say it was very delicious! The people were courteous and the place was packed because it was apparently seniors day.
Not sure why it was only showing three stars as I gave it five. Wife and I have been here several times and they have always been top notch

My husband and I visited yesterday at 1:00 pm for the first time and was never so impressed. Not so much by the food but the two ladies working behind the counter. The one who took our order explained how the system worked. Was very honest about the food quality and very patient with us as we went thru the entire menu. The other lady who was working the drive thru was just as pleasant snd helpful as the lady who took our order. What a great tag team they make. When no one was standing in line the both had cleaning chores they did. The restaurant is kept imaculate by these two. Very very impressed. Kudos to both and hopefully they will be there again when we visit. Thanks for making it such a pleasant visit!
So I ordered online and it said my order would be ready at 12:20 got there at 12:19 waited in line in front of three cars to be told drive around when I finally got to the window at 12:25 order still wasn't ready was asked to pull up at and at 12:32 when no one had come out I went in to be told oh well we don't get the order when it's placed and this was by the manager who then proceeded to serve other cyustomers whom of which were after me no apology when the food finally came just have a good day by the cashier nothing by that rude unprofessional manager! It's so sad that society has resorted to just having bodies in yhe restaurants instead of customer service reps... I left the business after over twenty years as Multi-Unit Manager and I can tell you I would've never tolerated or accepted this type of behavior period.
I ordered the white fish, and a baked potato and coleslaw, which also included two hush puppies. I seldom go to any type of a chain restaurant or any kind of a fast food restaurant, except for Captain D's! everything was cooked perfectly it was very tasty and I would definitely go back.
