Rude dummies working the counter.I picked up a (delicious) thin crust pizza, carry-out. I asked if I may have some parmesan cheese too and wad told "iS iT sOmE rIgHt ThErE?" while he pointed.The people who work at the grocery store are nice! And they know proper grammar too.
I walked in & placed a 'take out' order at Marco's pizza on Lake Murray blvd on Sunday June 5. I got the listed 'special deal' of an XL pizza with 1 topping @ $12.99. Paid & sat in my car for 15 - 20 minutes. When I walked inside to get my pizza, the employee said, "oh we don't have any more old world pepperoni so we never made your pizza." They knew I was sitting curbside in my car! I was ticked! I just sat there for 15-20 minutes & they could've stepped out & told me to choose another topping. They didn't offer me a discount on a replacement or anything. I told them to give me my money back, & I left. Be a long time before I ever go back.
We are loyal Marcos customers, ordering multiple times a month. Since we've moved, my husband wants to loose weight so we've been eating healthy. I convinced him to get Marcos last night. When I walked in, there were 5 workers just huddled up in the back while one was making the pizza and took over 5 minutes for someone to come to the front, even though they all looked at me when I walked in. The worker making pizza, I watched her fro land IN a pizza she was assembling as she bent down to get something and turned her head to talk to the others at the same time. My order said ready but it wasn't, and honestly they didnt have to rush it. But they did and it was severely undercooked. When we tried to pick up a piece, your fingers sunk into the dough of the under layer of the pizza. The cheesy bread on the other hand was over cooked and only had cheese on one side. For that many workers to be in one shop on a weekday night, there so be absolutely no reason my order should of been rushed and so bad. We won't be returning to this location. On top of that, only one staff member was nice. The rest were just rude and more interested in interacting with each other than doing their jobs. Actually this experience was so bad, we probably won't return to Marcos now that there's so many other choices around. The Marcos in Augusta on fury's ferry is TOP NOTCH. Their friendly, they make amazing cheesy bread and they actually cook their pizzas fully. But now we unfortunately live closest to this location and Marcos has now lost a loyal customer. To top it all off, my husband who has a stomach of steel, was up all night sick from the pizza. As was I but I have a more fragile stomach than him. So that tells us just how bad it was on top of our actual mouth experience. We ended up throwing away this order after trying to eat a doughy piece and just making salads.
Ordered a pizza bowl and Greek salad to be delivered. Once it arrived I noted the salad was all white Lettuce which resembled cabbage. Not a green leaf in site with a spoonful of feta. I called to speak to the manager and was asked "Is that all that is wrong with your order? The Lettuce comes precut and bagged to the store". Placed on hold and she never came back to the phone. So disappointed and money wasted. I have read reviews that this is also happening at other locations in Columbia. I will think twice before ordering again.
We often order Marco's pizza and normally have a good experience. However, this week that was not the case. We ordered pizza and wings online Wednesday the 26th at 9:30 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. delivery. The tracker showed the pizza was delivered at 11:30 but it wasn't so I called the store at 11:40 and was told the driver was walking in our door. At 11:50 we still had not gotten the order so I called back and was again told he is walking in your door. At 12:15 the driver who was VERY rude appeared with COLD food. The boxes were even cold! pizza and wings were cold. I never got a reason for why the food was cold but I asked if the food had been delivered to the wrong address at 11:30 and then picked back up and delivered to us at 12:15. No response from Marcos. The employees at the store were not helpful. Driver was rude. I am still waiting on the General Manager to call me back to discuss. Very disappointing that this store has gone down hill like this!
I Work Overnight, I called them 10 minutes before closing asking for a pizza to be delivered to a place they normally don’t deliver , the young lady put me on hold and a guy came to the phone we made a deal and he actually brought my pizza. I really appreciate you guys and the pizza was great ! Definitely will order again and definitely not 10 minutes before closing time lol
Use Marcos all the time, out off dozens of orders have I ever had a complaint and they immediately offered me a new free pizza that I could get right then or in the future. I chose to get it right away and when I got there it was piping hot just the way I wanted it. Highly recommend Marcos pizza.!
Listen!!! I don't know who's idea it was to come up with the pizza bowl but thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I used to feel bad for discarding so much bread and crust but no more!! Perfectly made; I loved it!!

Great food and customer service. My orders are always ready and accurate when I get there to pick them up. I have eaten salads,subs,pizza and wings from Marcos and been very pleased with the portions and taste. I highly recommend this Marcos location!
