Party of 7, thursday Apr 7th my oldest daughter's 19th birthday. Food was excellent but the service was out of this world! Server was sweet, attentive, and efficient. Highly recommend!
Every time I go to this locations they forget things. You can be very detailed about your order online and they still forget it. I had someone pick up my order thinking they would have it together but they didn’t. I ordered turkey and dressing online and I have no dressing or utensils and now I’m stuck at work with nothing to eat with and missing an items because of their negligence. But it’s okay happy Sunday.
I ordered the 1 meat & 3 vegetables.. plus another side. Everything that came out was bland and had no flavor. Even the chicken didn’t taste good. I’ve never had southern food that was so bad. Very disappointed in this restaurant. I added salt and pepper literally to everything and nothing helped. Even the tea tasted unsweetened.. the only thing good was the yams partially. My wife also didn’t enjoy any of her food. If you’re looking for a lizard thicket to eat at.. please bypass this one bc you’ll be wasting your money & time. Like wow
Don't know where to start with this place 1st off probably get a better system of having people just sit them sleves sat for 10 min before someone came to me meanwhile a older couple Sar few booths away somehow got service right away. Also the food is terrible mac and cheese watery and flavorless, mashed potatoes and gravy awful mashed potatoes tasted like insta potatoes and gravy was not good. Country fried steak awful only thing that was ok was the pork chop. I literally had 3 or 4 bites didn't touch the rest of my plate. Waitress asked me if I want a box and I replied no I was not a fan at all. Didn't offer to take off the check or if I want something else simply dropped the check and left. Don't waste your time coming here
As always, a perfect meat and 3 veg restaurant. Had the chicken fried steak and would buy the white sauce that was on it, it was that great! Hubby loved his fish. He even stole some of my collards.
Went here for breakfast on my way back to Florida. I've been coming to a Lizard Thicket since the one opened up, on Board River Rd. So I decided to stop here and unfortunately I made it only as far as coffee, sever disappeared and never came back. After the people who came 15 minutes after me got their food, it was time to go.Spoke to the manager very nice gentleman. I will never return to THIS Lizard Thicket.
The efficiency of the staff was good; the quality of the food was reasonable, and the coffee was especially good. My pancakes seemed to almost have a hardened crust, which was a distraction; the sausage patties seemed very hot, vs the "mild" seasoning I recall from earlier days; the staff wore masks (excellent) and the seating was reasonably distanced ... we have always enjoyed Lizards Thicket and we expect to continue to do so.
Home made and big portions. The staff was also super friendly.
Good home cooked meals affordable prices. I love their fried chicken and corn bread dressing.
