Super long wait but we'll worth it. The food was absolutely delicious and giant portions too. I had the fish and shrimp.One minus point though, the prices on their website are all wrong. It's about 5 more for each meal.
We had been searching for the perfect “hole-in-the-wall” seafood restaurant during our time in Hilton Head. We found it with Sea Shack. My wife, son, and I split a bowl of She Crab Soup and the Fish and Shrimp combination. Everything was delicious. The prices were affordable too. Service and cleanliness of the restaurant were top-notch. Definitely our best restaurant experience of the weekend!

Long line for lunch at noon usually indicates a promising place… and The Sea Shack did not disappoint. The line moved quickly and the gentleman seating people made it more pleasant. The crab cake sandwich, grilled flounder, hush puppies and popcorn shrimp were all very good. I remarked to my husband that the crab cake was the best I had had yet this trip. It doesn’t take fancy plates and $$$ to deliver quality, fresh seafood and this place has that figured out.
Amazing fish... there was a line to get in but it was worth the wait. Everything tasted great and ambiance was more of a fast food take out but everything tasted fresh and was a great spot to eat. I would definitely recommend...
The fish and chips were fantastic especially for this non seafood lover! My wife loved the blacked tilapia and we topped it off with delightful key lime pie! We arrived at 6 and waited about an hour and a half for the food but it was worth the wait!
Stopped in for lunch, had fried shrimp , slaw , hush puppies and sweet potato corn bread . All of it very good , clean and very friendly . Y’all the sweet potato corn bread is gas ! I’ve never heard of it til here , but it’s really great !!! Highly recommend.
Extremely popular SMALL, casual place. Shack is a great description. Only 12 tables indoor & some outdoor seating, first come, first serve. The staff there is AWESOME. From the kitchen to FOH, its amazing how much food they are able to serve in such a small place. Stand in line outside, when its your turn, order your food at counter then take your assigned seat or wait for take out order. Honestly, food was just ok. IMO, not worth waiting an hour on a weeknite.
Just visited Sea Shack a family tradition a couple times of year as we visit Hilton Head island. We were so disappointed all the way around. Service was rushed and rude. We got the choose 2 broiled. Small portions, fish so salty, thin, and tough. We will not be back anytime soon. Worse meal of the week.
We went first at dinner time and you have to be prepared to wait in line for a while. Although they have seating, most people seem to do take out. We didn't wait in line but came back for lunch. Food was decent and reasonably priced. My kids are not fans of sea food so they passed on eating another round of chicken tenders.
