Quaint little Italian restaurant in Hilton Head. Get a table in the patio by the window to see the deer and raccoons munch on their evening meal — the kids will love it! Oh and the food was pleasant as well. I had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was good.
Fantastic everything! The atmosphere is intimate. The food……the food!!! I had the stuffed pork chop. My wife had snapper (the special that evening) crème brûlée for dessert is homemade. They also have a really cool martini menu.We live in Savannah, an hour away. We were in the mood for Italian. Which Savannah has a lack of.It was well worth the drive. We are definitely going back!
We had a great experience tonight! The ambiance was great and the food was amazing! Our server and the wait staff was great too! Very relaxing atmosphere. We definitely will be back.
Great food, excellent service and an amazing atmosphere. There is a rear section with large glass windows where wildlife come to feed. Very unique experience. Great for both formal or family dining with a full bar. Definitely a place to visit every-time we come to Hilton Head.
Service was friendly and prompt, the atmosphere was nice, we had a great corner table. But the food was just so-so. Like most places in HHI, the food was expensive but overall none of us were wowed by our dinner.
Delicious and filling early bird. Opt for the tortellini and the eggplant parmigiana and you will be happy. Comes with rolls, wine, and salad. Cute place. Would return for the early bird. Definitely make reservations.
Went for dinner at Stellini’s Hilton Head Island. Lasagna was terrible. No noodles, one tiny piece of meat, full of sauce (very soupy) and tons of thick cheese enough to choke on. Owner called to our table, and he became very very beligerent, called the customer a liar and told the customer to “get out”. We will NEVER go back. Stay away from this place. Bad food and horrible owner. There are so many wonderful restaurants on HHI, you don’t need to visit this one.
We wanted to do dinner here but they didn't offer outdoor dining so we did take out. The veal saltimbocca ($26) was good as was the Pasta Pomodoro with chicken ($28). Prices were comparable with similar Hilton Head restaurants. The menu is loaded with several mouth-watering choices; I just wish they had outdoor seating. Parking is tight and you'll probably end up in an overflow lot. We asked for our takeout at 6:30 and it was right on time. Very friendly family run restaurant. I'd give it 5 stars if they had outdoor seating.
Excellent, High Quality Italian, with a Friendly Family Flair. Mussels were exceptional, Veal Marsala & Eggplant Parm were the best we have had on the island. Make a reservation and you will not be disappointed. Not on the main drag, but worth finding it.
We arrived right at 4:59 to be there when the restaurant opens at 5. They offer an early bird special from 5-5:45. We were about the sixth party in line to enter. When it was our turn, the male manger/host asked do we have a reservation? No, we did not (I had called around 4 but they were closed so we walked in). He said well, I may be able to fit you in, maybe not. After having us wait for a few minutes, he rudely informed me he could squeeze us in (party of four). His tone gave the impression he didn’t want me to breathe the air in his restaurant, but he would make the exception this one time. The couple behind us said they have been here before and never with a reservation. We sat and the restaurant remained at about half capacity for the duration of our time there. I have no idea why we were given such an attitude about the reservation. Our server, Gina, was wonderful. The food was great! The salad vinaigrette was unique and delicious. I enjoyed the linguine in clam sauce and my husband liked the eggplant parmesan. We have two children, who are old enough to behave in a restaurant. I have no idea if the fact we have children made us welcome or not? At the age of 40, with the exception of my children, I was by far the youngest patron. Quality, homemade food with an excellent server and a terribly rude and miserable host or whatever his position is. Dine at your own risk.
