Took forever and screwed up my drink twice while they were trying to close the store at 2:30pm (no explanation).... issues not isolated to this location, as I've had service issues at several Starbucks recently. Unfortunately Starbucks will be one of those chains we tell our grandchildren about, because they'll likely be long gone by then.
Me as well as eight other customers stood in line for about 15 minutes without one barista acknowledging us or taking our order. Staff was extremely slow and only catered to the drive through customers. They ignored EIGHT other customers standing in line to order and THREE other customers waiting inside for their orders. This was on July 2nd @7am.
I actually love Starbucks and your employees are usually so very friendly I do understand staffing issues I just opened a business myself Here on Hilton Head Island. If you're willing to pay for employees you will find them I you will find them I am fully staffed upon opening 6 fantastic young ladies working for me running my business like it's their own because I pay well. It is Memorial Day weekend and all 3 of your Starbucks locations on Hilton Head Island are closed
I visited your location inside Kroger on Shelter Cove. I do realize I was there 10 minutes before close but I stood waiting to be acknowledged as you had 3 Starbucks workers and a Kroger employee all chatting. When you did acknowledge me, you told me you were closed (still before 8). Why have closing times listed online if they aren't followed?

This is my favorite Starbucks location. It offers the same beverages as any other Starbucks, but what sets this one apart is the location. I love to ride my bike to this Starbucks on the lovely Hilton Head Island bike paths, and then sit on the patio sipping my coffee under the majestic tall trees that shade the area. It's a beautiful setting!
Honestly the world's worst Starbucks, just close this location or find an entirely new staff. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ORDER AT THE COUNTER. THEY PRIORITIZE MOBIL AND DRIVE THRU. WAIT TIMES IM EXCESS OF 30 MINUTES. Go to Kroger.....
Always consistent. I go In the mornings between 730-830. Inside is clean and relatively spacious. Walk-in is always fast in the mornings when I go; drive thru can have a short wait but the team does a good job of keeping things flowing. My default is Venti Pikes, Berry Parfait and sometimes the turkey bacon /egg sandwich. The sandwich is at best ok (at any Starbucks).
This location is very active and can be extremely busy at times. This particular Starbucks is less than a minute away from my job so it’s in a convenient location whenever I need a pick me up or that second wind to get me through the rest of my shift. The employees are generally nice and have learned my name plus the type of coffee I order every visit. They definitely get five stars.
This location on the island has the best customer service & best baristas. I drive a little extra to support this store & the friendly staff. So grateful they show up & give 100% every day.
