We enjoyed this experience and food! This was a bit similar to a upscale Waffle House, in that it’s not a large joint and you get see the show when at the counter. Quality though, this was way way better. Service was quick, people friendly and the food was on point. Solid breakfast options. The coney was just to sample while there and it was pretty delicious. Akin to a Michigan coney with chili.
They make their own French bread for the French toast, and it’s so soft and delicious. The Island French Toast was so savory; fresh fruit with warm syrup. The price is right as well. I enjoyed my breakfast.
We came here for lunch but all ended up choosing to eat breakfast instead. The menu is pretty standard and the food is very reasonably priced. Everybody enjoyed their food as well. The two people who took care of us were both very friendly.
My family and I went here twice during our trip. Pancakes and omelets are amazing!! It's always nice to see smiling faces and wonderful personality from your server's, and we got this there and then some. Annie and Sam and Darlene went above and beyond. Southern Coney and Breakfast is a great spot for a perfect breakfast to kick start your day. I had the pancakes as it is one of their staples, they were perfect in every way. The waitresses were very helpful as well with any questions we had. I will definitely be coming back next time around.
I'd give 6 stars if I could. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the staff was friendly as all get out.We weren't helped by only 1 server but multiple came to help and assist. The kitchen staff flowed well with awesome teamwork and with quick work. Everyone was busy doing something. Seems like a good work environment. Well done all around!Glad yall split tips because everyone from the prep guy to the dishwasher all the way to the cashier should get equal share!
The sign is what brought us back. Best pancakes in the world. I had the special: very berry pancakes. Delicious pancakes. Husband had traditional breakfast. Both very filling
What can I say? We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! There are more than enough breakfast places in our hometown to have something to compare them too and let me tell you, they beat all of them! Our table of 7 was split 4 breakfast and 3 lunch and no one was disappointed! The wait staff were excellent and sooo friendly, everyone helped out and empty dishes were removed promptly. And as I said. The food was excellent. A must visit!
SOOOOO GOOD!!! We ate breakfast here both morning of our trip. The food and the service was excellent. I highly recommend. And if you're staying in the area you can get picked up, dropped off, and picked back up once you're done by the golf cart trollies!! NO DRIVING!!! *SCORE!!
Little diner with indoor (booths and bar cooktop stools) and outdoor seating (tables). Got a breakfast sandwich, side of bacon, omelet and hash browns and waters. Around $20 bill. Many customers were ordering blueberry pancakes. Busy around 10am on a weekday. Workers were picking up guests’ silverware and coffee when they went to restroom. They were trying but didn’t seem to know who was coming or going, if someone already had menus or had ordered.
