Food was average. I felt for the price ($30.00 for what is shown.. no side salad or anything else included) the seafood portions should have been larger. My fried shrimp and oysters were good, but nothing special. The cole slaw wasn’t very good and fries were average.

Really good food and gorgeous space right on the water. Service was excellent and didn't have to wait at all. Right beside 2 other restaurants that hav fav reviews so if you want can easily go to the other. Had the shrimp/scallops and was delicious. Strongly recommend

Sunset views, lively atmosphere, live music, good bar and great food. Not much to not like about this place except for the wait times. Always crowded but there is plenty to do while you wait including playing ping pong, corn hole etc. Love this place.

We had the best lunch and our waitress was fantastic! Not into high volume places but I can honestly say the lunch was great. And would definitely go back

Great food, great view and great service from Jacob. Our family has to to eat gluten free and they had several great options. I always wait a day to make a review of a restaurant to be sure the gluten free claim holds true, those who have Celiac know what I mean!! This place was a great experience for our family of six. We had a variety of sea food dishes and they were all great! Go ealry, before 5p, or expect to wait! If you can't go early, the great news they have outside seating with bar service and games such as corn hole to keep you entertained as you wait. I was so impressed I even forked over an aditional $20 buck to get a Skull Creek tee shirt!

Dockside has become one of my favorite lunch spots. LOVE the outdoor patio. I love the lunch combos. The mac and cheese is one of my favorites. BBQ is very good! Staff is friendly. Love the outdoor bar as well. Get a cocktail and sit in the chairs by the water. Doesn’t get much better!

No reservation? Two hour wait. But, oh ho, tables outside in bar area are First come First serve. Bacon hush puppies are different. Ceasar salad was very dry. Shrimp Alfredo was good. Clam strips were done nicely. Cheese grits were nothing to write home about. "She crab soup" not so good. Small portions for all.

We visited Dockside for a late lunch on a Wednesday and it was great! We were sat immediately & had a fantastic waiter who catered to all our needs, especially when answering questions about menu items. The view onto the marsh was also really nice & added to our experience. I gave it 4-stars, however, because their she crab soup was less soup-y and more chowder-y, which is fine if food texture doesn’t matter to you, and it was still tasty, but disappointing; their grits were also delicious but a little dry. Overall we had a nice time & will be back for future lunches.

Everyone I talked to recommended this place for dinner while my friends and I are in Hilton Head for the weekend. Well we had a horrible experience. Service was not great. Management is horrendous. Food is not great.... First when we I dropped off my friend and she tried to get on the waitlist their iPad crashed. When I arrived after parking it was still down and there were a growing number of staff members huddled around it just looking at it like it was going to magically fix itself. I asked a manager if they would take down my name and add us to the waitlist once the system was back up so we could get a drink at the bar. His response was that they couldn't do that since there were other people ahead of us and that would not be fair to them.... He really didn't even listen to what I asked. Then he said we could go outside to get a table since outside it was first come first served. So we went outside. Got a table with a lovely view and waited.... And waited. Only to have a server come tell us we couldn't sit where we were because that table was for people waiting to be seated. She brought out the same manager that sent us outside who also said we couldn't sit there. Fortunately a table came available at that moment that apparently we were allowed to have. Really?!? After all of this, the drinks were weak and overly sweet. I ordered the combination with two scallops, a crab cake, two stuffed shrimp, roasted baby sweet potatoes, and pimento cheese grits. The plate looked delicious. The scallops and sides were good. The crab cake was horrible and the shrimp were hard and tasted bad. My friend did enjoy her cod that was on special. I was very very disappointed in my experience and the food.

Great dinner and waterfront view during our anniversary trip. Excellent food and the wait staff was very attentive.
