Ended up at San Miguel’s since Santa Fe uses Peanut Oil. For those with nut allergies, San Miguel’s was safe.As for the food, nobody in my party of 5 enjoyed their meal, and almost each of us ended up with an upset stomach, indigestion, or nausea. Took one meal to go to a family member at home and she threw it out. Service was not good at all, but it was crowded and the poor girl assigned to our table had seemingly every party of 8+ in the place. She kept good spirit even though overwhelmed.View of Shelter Cove was a big plus. Atmosphere outside was nice.

Walked down to the marina and found this place. We sat outside so we could enjoy the view of the marina along with the live music. I really liked their Enchiladas Verdes and my husband liked his two Enchiladas. Their mixed drink while expensive was good. We definitely want to return when back on the island.

What a great place! We went kayaking in the marina and our tour guide recommended San Miguel's. They have a great outdoor area, or if you don't want to wait for a seat...go to the inside bar. We were welcomed cheerfully by the bartenders Eddie & Ryan. Both guys were attentive and very personable. The food was OMG delicious. The tortilla chips were fresh & flavorful. My son loved the salsa & said it was one of the best he's ever had!! He also loved the fish tacos & is still talking about it 2 weeks later! The only thing I didn't love was the guacamole. But who cares about guacamole when you have the chance to eat their shrimp tacos...sooooooo good. They have an awesome Happy Hour for drinks & food. When we visit South Carolina again, we are definitely going back to San Miguel's!

Really good food with a nice view of Shelter Cove Marina. Our group enjoyed the Pork Carnitas, Enchiladas Verde & Grilled Chicken Fajitas Salad. We highly recommend the queso appetizer.

Although we have been coming to HH for decades this is the first time I’ve tried this restaurant ( which has been here for quite a while). We arrived early - about 4:15, so it was easy to find a table inside. The staff is very pleasant and helpful in suggesting. The 3 of us each had something different to drink and eat. I think all were happy with our choices - mine was grilled chicken, rice, beans and queso, which was very good. Upon leaving the place inside and out was nearly full!. Definitely worth a visit if you want some Mexican food!

The atmosphere was beautiful! The food was delicious. The crab and shrimp chimichunga was the star of the show! Kudos to the chef. The outdoor dining is a must, you have a live band and your right where the boats dock its a beautiful evening scenery.

We had a bit of a challenge finding this spot (one of us is handicapped and needs to be dropped off, so it was a few more steps than usual to enter) but the location is actually very good once you know where it is! We usually like to sit inside where it is cool but the evening we ate here it was a nice temp so we ate outside under covered area, enjoying the live music and boats in the harbor. Their complimentary salsa was especially wonderful. All our food was delicious (I ordered plate with the mini beef chimi, taco, cheese enchilada and rice and beans) and like many Mexican restaurants, it was way too much food. Fast and competent service, I was happy they gave us very large glasses of our drinks so we didn't have to wait around for refills if the server was very busy . Service was good too.

The view and outdoor eating was very inviting with the marina to look out on-very Hilton Head! The fajitas and margaritas were wonderful! The service was great! Thank you San Miguel.

I had the deluxe burrito, wife had the tostada, both were delicious. Place is clean and modern. Frozen Marguerita was also very tasty. Service Excellent. I don't have any trouble recommending San Miguel's.

We went for a late lunch. It was not crowded but the service was bad, the food was average and they served me a warm beer.
