Roy and his staff did an excellent job catering a celebration of life event for my mother. He and his team worked on short notice, with some serious changes due to a COVID outbreak among my family just before the event.Roy was among the half dozen caterers I contacted on the weekend that my mother died before her funeral on the following Friday. Roy was the only one to respond, and he did so quickly with a sumptuous menu that was fairly priced. He accommodated a halving of the guests due to COVID the day before the event. Then, he and his staffed delivered on both the quality of the food and the professionalism of the service offered by his staff at the Celebration of Life event for my mother.I would highly recommend Roy for any events in the HHI community.
I wish I could give Roy's Place 10 stars for catering! They went above and beyond every step of the way. We booked them for our wedding and rehearsal dinner catering in 2020 for our wedding in April 2022. We never met them in person until the day of the rehearsal dinner and we never did a tasting because we were from out of town, but we trusted the amazing reviews and we knew we wanted a lowcountry boil served at our reception. They did not disappoint! I am getting compliment after compliment from our guests regarding how good the food was and they also did a great job for our rehearsal dinner. They were accomodating, offered many suggestions on local vendors since we were not from Hilton Head, and made the whole process as easy as possible. All of our vendors knew Roy and Becky and were thrilled when we told them that Roy's Place was our caterer. Thank you Roy and Becky for a wonderful experience! You all are the nicest people and we can't wait to come back to the island for lunch at your cafe!
Highly recommend Roy and Becky for your Bluffton/HHI catering serviced! They catered our wedding last week and the food and service was impeccable! The bartenders made our signature cocktails perfectly and the food was very reasonably priced!
If I could give above 5 stars, I would. Our wedding weekend using Roy's Place Catering both Friday and Saturday night was amazing. Not only was the food perfect both nights, but working with Roy, Becky, and their staff made their service truly unmatched. We received so many compliments on the food and staff from our guests and we are so thankful we found them to help make our day absolutely perfect and unforgettable. Roy’s Place Cafe and Catering caterer our wedding on 11/13/2021 and it was a HIT. He did an AMAZING job, was very attentive, and the staff was fabulous. We had not one worry when it came to the food or open bar. 100% recommend the crab cakes and roasted potatoes ♥️
We stopped by today for lunch after reading several great reviews. My wife loves turkey and dressing and Roy's is amongst the best she has had. I enjoyed the fried shrimp which is hand breaded and delicious. The meats come with 3 side choices. The list of sides is about 12-15 items and each were very tasty. They are only open 3 days per week in the off season but I can assure you we will return on a regular basis.
Roy's catering was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was excellent! Roy was really nice and helpful when it came to figuring out our needs for our wedding. I highly recommend Roy's catering.
We recently had Roy's Place cater a private dinner for our small leadership retreat at a local airbnb we had rented. It was fabulous and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. Ease of communication beforehand was refreshing, I found them very reasonably priced, and the meal was of excellent quality. Chef Doug was fantastic - prompt with his arrival, extremely efficient with coordinating the various aspects of the meal, and very nice / professional. We enjoyed his sense of humor and found him to be very friendly. He cleaned up after the meal, and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend Roy's Catering and Chef Doug! Thank you for a fantastic dinner!

Roy's Place catered a private dinner to celebrate my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary in our rental home on HHI. What a fabulous night it was! Our whole party - kids and adults - commented over and over how much they enjoyed the experience and the meal. Our chef and server (Brian and Isabelle) were so friendly and exceeded all of our expectations. And the prices were so reasonable! I highly recommend Roy's Place if you host an event on HHI.
