Other than waiting for 30 minutes to be seated even with a reservation booked weeks in advance (and showing up 10 minutes before) it was great. Me and my Boyfriend had a show at 8pm, and we didn't get seated until 7pm. Was sad we only got 45 minutes to dine and enjoy dinner and wee really wanted dessert - other than that, the food was good and our server was very nice and attentive. Get the gnocci!
This was our first time dining at Pomodori, and were delighted with the food and service. We ordered the Caprese salad, Linguini with Meatballs and a Bolognese Lasagne and Broccolini. Everything was savory and well prepared. Be sure to make a reservation before you go there!
Amazing food! Most flavorful pasta sauce without going overboard with spices and garlic like some places do. The gnocchi was by far the best I’ve ever eaten and I eat Italian food frequently.
Heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to give it a try. Had take-out lasagna once and it was pretty good. Dining in not so much. Staff very helpful. I had the veal francese. Not great. Very thick lemon sauce. Wife had ravioli which she asked the waiter if it was spicy and he said not really. She thought it was very spicy. Won't be back except for take-out lasagna
When it comes to pasta - no one does it better than Pomodori. The Pomodori sauces was fresh and amazing. Good service too.
Really lovely dinner in outdoor section with amazing attentive server Dylan. Food is freshly made - nice portion size and made well. Great Italian addition to HHI.
HANAN was the perfect hostess - friendly, engaging and full of life! I went with her off mini recommendation for the sausage gnocchi and it was AMAZING!!! My wife had the Zuppa de Pesce and it was equally spectacular. Service was a 10. Food was a 10 and atmosphere was a 10. This should be the number ONE place in Hilton Head not #5.
Sat outside under covered patio, no view of anything but nice to sit outside. The food was excellent, including warm bread, calamari, pappardelle with scallops, gnocchi and lasagna. Grandson loved the cannoli. Service was very good
What a fantastic restaurant. We started with a bottle of Montepulciano reasonably priced. The bread is a good indicator of whether it is a good restaurant and the bread was excellent. My wife had little neck clams with linguine. Most Italian restaurants don’t have little neck clams which my wife prefers. She thought it , was the best she has had in a long time. I had zuppa de pesce with clams, shrimp and scallops. All fresh with an excellent sauce, not too spicy. The portions were so large, we didn’t have room for desert. The only downside was the lack of a liquor license. I love sambucca after dinner. Highly recommend. Need to make reservations 2 weeks ahead.
Simply the best restaurant on the island. The delicious food, friendly staff, and relaxed setting have made it our favorite for the past four years.
