I ordered from this restaurant using DoorDash. DoorDash is being ornery and will not post my review. So, I will post here.I got a burrito, and it was adequate. However, they sent the food without giving me utensils at a vacation resort. In addition, the delivery location was on the beach. I had to eat my food with my hands.
Terrible service - we had party of 8 and secured a reservation for 7pm - sat at the bar for 15 mins and was told it was still going to be a while. There was an empty that seats 14 just below the bar we asked If we sit there and they agreed. Wait staff Fernando was not customer friendly and food took 90+ minutes to come out. Bill comes and we ask to speak to the manager looking for acknowledgment of the poor service. Female hostess told me they are short staffed and shouldn’t have even take a reservation for 8 people. Was told no manager on duty and there was nothing they could do. Let them know we would pay the bill, not be back and their over the top worst service experience We have ever had would be added to every site to let folks know what they may be getting with larger party. Food was good once it came out - but by then we were all over the wait
Crowded...dirty...slow...wait staff can't speak English.... Need I say more? It was an hour between placing our orders & arrival of same. Waitress seemed to disappear for long periods. Food? About the same as any Mexican restaurant. Real disappointment!
Our family has been coming to Hilton Head for 46 years. Tonight, my elderly parents wanted to treat the family to a nice meal. Reservations were made for 8 guests at 7:00. Upon arrival at 6:45, we were informed that there were no tables and they had no idea how long we would have to wait. We chose to wait at the bar, while the entire time we all saw a vacant table that no one was using. After 40 minutes of waiting for a table, we asked if we could sit at the one that was still empty. After finally sitting at the previously empty table, our waiter arrived with nothing. Water would have been nice since we had already been waiting for so long. We asked for water and a few drinks. When he returned with the water,he dropped and spilled a few of them on the table. Instead of apologizing and beginning to clean up the mess, he told us we were going to have to move to a different table. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We ordered our dinner as he took our orders down on a steno pad. Off he went with our order, as we waited for the next hour and a half for our food. Never an explanation, apology, extra drinks, cheese dip, etc… we couldn’t even get additional chips unless we asked. Since we had to wait so long, some of us began to look around the restaurant and noticed numerous parties come in, seated , served, finished their meals and left. We were still waiting for our meals. We also noticed 2 tables next to ours in which, in our opinion the people being served numerous drinks and shots were not of legal drinking age. After numerous served drinks to these very young individuals, they left the establishment on their own. No adult was with them to provide safe transportation. Also, our waiter had very long hair that was not secured back. When he was not carrying dishes, we noticed on numerous occasions that he was playing in his hair with his hands. GROSS!!! When the meal was finally delivered and we were ready to eat, many of us were missing parts of our meals. We had to request our check after quite a long time. When the check came we were stunned to see that no part of the bill had been taken care of due to the horrible service. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that there wasn’t one there. We asked to speak to someone in charge, but after waiting for an excessive amount of time, we knew no one was coming to speak to us. Someone from our party went to ask the hostess to speak to the owner, but she told him that he was in the back and could not speak English! How is this establishment running? Do all of the employees just run the place??? He explained to the hostess about our experience and she said that there was nothing they could do. What should have been a nice evening out with our family turned into a dreadful experience. Even though the food was good, I would NOT recommend going here unless you have 2-3 hours for you our meal. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Horrible horrible attitude from the waiter. His name is pollo or pallo. But such a terrible service and attitude. We asked for the manager and they claim he won’t be here until 5pm. I will never return back and I advise others not too. He was smiling and communicating with the other table, but with us his attitude was completely rude and unacceptable. Of course they had already pre added the tip, but he was not worthy of any tip. I will not be back! Unprofessional, rude, and need to be taught how to be a professional waiter.
Incredibly flavorful carne asada. Wife loved the 7 mares soup. I would happily eat every meal there on our trip. Can't wait to get back to try more dishes. Fast and friendly service.
We went out for dinner on a Sunday night and stopped at a few of our favourite restaurants but none were open, what to do, we remembered a Mexican restaurant across from our RV resort so Mi Tierra was the choice fro the night. We had our dog with us and asked to be seated on the patio. Our orders were quickly taken and the meals were ready shortly after. The meals were great, the tastes were fantastic, all employees we were in contact with were extremely helpful We will be back
Excellent seafood stuffed Poblano with white cheese sauce and rice. Sausage and bean burrito, extremely large, enough for two. Very large Chimmis with lots of ground beef. For those that love heat try their Diablo or Tomatillo sauces, very flavorful and nice heat. Excellent value for you dollar.
Ate here twice while staying in HHI and the food was great each time. The service was quick while I ate at the bar area and the servers were very friendly. Would definitely eat here again!!
